South Sioux Senior High School

i love this school i attend ssc and i have a lot of friends of different races and personalities. anyone who can't handle the fact that it's diverse is just insecure. ssc provides a great learning expeirence for everyone who attends.

Anyone who rates this school as a positive learning experience is joking. How does this site attain it's statistics? If you are at the school when it lets out, you can tell it is NOT 43% hispanic, it is 80-85%. With Bush's plan of no child left behind, it is difficult for me to believe my child will be able to succeed, if he has to wait for non english speaking kids to 'catch-up.' Enough of the special programs, lets have non english speaking students in a separate school until they are ready to learn in the same environment and have students that are ready to learn be able to excel without limitations. Yes, I do send my son to SSC, but I am NOT proud of it!

South Sioux City Senior High School is the best school in the county. It has new buildings and young fresh fun teachers. The block system that they use seems to be the best for the students and their social lives yet still produces high test scores. I like how this school also is diverse in ethnicities, cultures, and languages. Unless you are a insecure person that thinks whenever people are speaking in a language you cant comprehend and they are laughing, you automatically asume that they are talking about you, then you might not like that quality this school has. :) I LOVE SOUTH HIGH! The people are friendly if you are to them and it just has the best atmosphere any highschool ever could!
