Cross County HS-Stromsburg

Amazing facilities. Involved and highly knowledgeable administration. Teachers that really care and go steps beyond what is "standard". The are all statements used to describe our school! As a parent I am blessed to be involved as much as I desire with my childs education. Sports are great, but so is the fine arts program! They seem to find a place for every student to be involved! It's the best school I've seen

This school is an excellent school. All of the teachers strive to have the students potentials maximized and the new school is fabulous. It doesn't matter what the students do (sports or not, etc.) the teachers and students all treat each other the same. The community is a great place to live in and is a safe and fun area to live. Noone judges anyone for what they have done and noone is very opinionated. I don't know what they other reviewer was thinking, but they have it all wrong. This is a great school to go to.

No gifted program, very opinionated people in this community. Big waste of money to build a new school building since the enrollment is declining. If you aren't out for sports - you're kid is nothing. I optioned my kids out to another school district that is much better.
