As a recent graduate of THS I am very pleased with the school. There was and still is great opportunity to succeed, you just have to put effort in and work for it. The teachers are great and very caring of the students, they are always willing to help the students that ask for help. As a 3-time state goer, student-athlete myself, I feel the athletics are very important in the school, and there is so much school spirit!! Everyone loves the TIgers, you just have to get involved. The Academic Decathlon team is also very important in our school. It's a sport for the brain. Overall I was very satisfied with my high school career at THS, there are many scholarships offered to grads and post-grads as well. IT'S A GREAT SCHOOL!!!

as a current student i feel that our school faculty is very poor except for few exeptions. School pride and spirit is very low, and there is no discipline for smoking outside of school illegally in the parking lot. Students fall through the cracks if they cant keep up. Their special ed teachers are not qualified for truly teaching someone the way they need to be taught. They only emphasize the importance of sports and all extracurriculars do not "matter". They dont offer any direction on placing your special needs child if they are having a hard time in tekamah. School lunches are poor quality, and VERY overpriced. There is little nutritional value also. There is no air conditioning no window units, except for in the computer room and the principals office.
