I attended this school as a Junior and Senior in 2000-2002. Students at CCHS were afforded considerably greater freedom, and greater responsibility when compared to traditional high schools. The faculty and administration was focused intensely on the needs of the student, and the students themselves were much more prepared for the next step, whether professionally, or educationally. This school helped to save me and put me back on track to pursue my advanced education.

I am not writing this review as a parent of a child attending, I am an alumna. First hand I know how attentative these teachers are on an individual level and as a whole. The teachers always tried to push their students to achieve their full potential and they did so by recognizing the strong points of the student, while working to strengthen areas that needed improvement. They provide a structured classroom setting and greatly encourage student participation. The teachers also act as counselors, career guides, college tutors and go above and beyond that which is expected of any typical teacher. These people are dedicated to their students and often sacrafice much of their personal time. There is an incredible difference when you are working with teachers who love to teach. Any child attending be provided with the tools and skills they need to carry them forward.

I attended CCHS-South for my junior and senior year in high school. I was able to graduate high school with 30 credits. This school has a 100% graduating rate, which can be acredited to the teachers and staff that help and follow your progress in order to prepare you for your future educational career. I would reccomend this school to any high school student looking for a great education in a relaxed atmosphere.
