Amazing! I have a child with ADHD and his teacher Mrs. Curtis is the best thing that could have happened to him! She is amazing and a wealth of knowledge and caring. The principal and Vice Principal are great and the kids are excited and happy at the school! Couldn't ask for more!
I have had nothing but pleasant experiences in the years my son has attended so far (K-3). The only complaint I have is every single time I walk into the front office, I never get greeted or even acknowledged until at least 3 minutes have passes and you feel like they have to go out of their way to help you. Not very pleasant at all!
The teachers are pretty good but the principal is terrible. She doesn't accept calls from parents, occasionally she'll have the vice principal take care of parent concerns if you keep calling. She doesn't seem to like kids.
I think this school has the most committed teachers. Parents are also very involved at Glen Taylor. Unfortunately, with the new principal, things have changed for the worse. She never smiles and has changed alot of things for the worse. Sure miss the last two principals who genuinely seemed happy to be there. The staff in the front office seem unhappy and rude now too.
Fantastic! The teachers really care about the students' social and emotional development as well as academic progress. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Like every school, this one has it's good and bad. Administration could be much better than it is. The feeling I get when I walk in the front office is how could I be so stupid to ask questions they have been asked a million times. And how dare I interrupt whatever it is they are doing at their desks. The principal seems to have a presence whenever I am at the school, I usually see her walking around in the halls, which is a good sign, but she is new to the school this year, and judging by the way some things have gone she is still trying to get the hang of it. My daughter had gone through 4 different teachers, all before November. Because of the chaos we didn't even see progress reports until almost January. We are looking into private schools for next year. Not happy here
This is a great school. The teachers are terriffic my son had Mrs. Aquino which I just loved. If I could I would have her follow my son all the way to 12th grade. The only thing I feel the school lacks is better Admin. It would be nice to be acknowledged when you walk in to the office right away. Other then that the teachers are great.
I love this school! This will be my son's second year at this school and he loves it. The teachers are great. He had Mrs. Johnson in second grade who is a fabulous and genuinely caring teacher. He is now in third and is privileged to have Ms. Ayala as a GATE teacher and is looking forward to having Mr. Anunson in the fifth grade. The teachers here go above and beyond for the students. They have a new principle and we've yet to see how she will be, but the past 2 principals have been great. Highly recommend Glen Taylor.
I love this school. The teachers are wonderful. Have 2 kids that attend and look forward to the upcoming school year.
We love this school and are proud to have our child attend.
