I recently attended this school and loved it! The teachers are there for us the students, and there are fair rules and regulations. It's a beautiful school, and very easy to navigate around. I had no difficulty finding my classes.

Hi!!! I am a 8th grader. I currently reside in Henderson Nevada. Attending a wonderful school, that school is Burkholder. I love this school it has lots of activities for kids to play and enjoy. I am on the lady JAG's Basketball team, I love the support of the principal, the vice principal and the dean. They mostly come to every game!! I am excited to attend here and sad to leave next year. If you are moving to Henderson I reccomend this school. Go Lady Jags Whoooo! (and boy jags :) ) !!!

I was a 8th grade student for this 2007 2008 school year i felt that this school was a terrific school and that the teachers were not only fair but they were very student to teacher freindly!I had no problems with the teachers/administration nor the students this school had a very good after school activity selection!!!!!!Overall i loved this school and will miss it dearly becuase even though it was a very spread out campus it was still very easy to get around from class to class!!!!!!

My son went here (the last year before the rebuild). Was a great school. My daughter s 6th grade year was at Mannion (good school & staff). Starting back at Burkholder, this school seems to be ran more like a prison then a school. They have punished kids without proof. They have not allowed my daughter lunch at least 1 time. The principal & dean will fight you if you disagree. I have had them lie to me and break their own rules. They treat our kids like numbers. Minor issue with only 1 teacher.
