This school does not care about its Students or Parents. I have had nothing but issues with this school. The office staff does not try to help resolve issues and in fact they try to divert you from speaking with the principal. Paper work is never sent in an appropriate timley manner and everything is last minute. Complete and utter caos! Teachers dont care and it shows!!
My Granddaughters have been attending Twin Lakes all school year . They are in 1st and 4th grades and i have found their teachers very responsive to their needs. Dr Adams is one of the finest principal I have encountered and I have dealt with many over the years as I have 5 children. Finally I would like to say that (I hope I have his name right) Mr Bolin counseler shows everyday that he truly cares for the kids. Just being there for the kids and being their when their grandfather died was a big help. Thank You all.
The school fails to send home required guidelines for projects. Fails to notify regarding parent teacher conferences. Discipline is low, and teachers do not have a grasp on trouble students, causing harassment of children to be high, and they will not step in when they can be found. Will not allow a student to defend themselves if attacked, as they will get the student who defends themselves into as much trouble as the attacker. Has failed No Child Left Behind, and has a large percentage of the school with students who do not speak English.
