My daughter went to Cowan Sunset as a full time student in an attempt to catch up on her deficient credits in an environment and on a schedule better suited to her learning styles. The administration was wonderful. The principal genuinely wants the best for the students and wants to help them get on track. The teachers were a mixed bag, some being too worn out at the end of the day to be effective, some teaching to the lowest common denominator. The students were also a mixed bunch, between those desperate to graduate on time and those just biding time until they could drop out. The Sunset program shouldn't be confused with the Behavioral program. They are completely different schools operating out of the same building, with Sunset starting shortly after the Behavioral program is done for the day.
