I absolutely love this school. My son has gone to Merryhill since he was 2 years old, he is 5 now and about to enter kindergarten! The level of care & learning he received at Merryhill is unbelievable. The cost is high, but worth every penny. I have never worried about my son, when I drop him off in the morning and go to work I know he is in good hands. The principal and assistant address any concern you have immediately. The teachers are very loving and caring towards all the children. I highly recommend this school.

We left another private school for Merryhill and couldn't be happier with the individual attention and nurturing they provide.

Wonderful teachers and staff! The principal is very involved, the curriculum is challenging and my son loves coming to school every day. If you are looking for personal attention to your child, this is the school!

This school is average at best and is not worth the money. They care more about making a profit than providing a quality education. Run as fast as you can.

My son has attended Merryhill since kindergarten. He has been very exited about going to school every day for the past two years, and has had nothing but positive experiences academically and socially. The staff and teachers have all been completely helpful to me and very much involved in providing my son with the best education and experience possible. I have a nephew who also just started the 2nd grade but attends a public school in the Clark County School District, and the difference in the level of education the two boys are receiving (both who are very bright children) is incredible. The proof is in the pudding for me. As far as the comments about the principal, I think they're quite sad, because she is very qualified and cares about each student. Just because she happens to be attractive and cares about her appearance she shouldn't be labeled as unprofessional.

The principal needs to get it together. This school could be a great place but needs better leadership. Stop worrying about your image and make this a good school. We have been with Merryhill for many years, but I am taking my daughter elsewhere next year.

My kindergartner has attended Merryhill since she was 3. I just had her independently assessed at another school and am SORELY disappointed in the level of education she's received.

Wonderful start this week for my granddaughter. She was unsure of starting in a new school, but everyone has made her feel safe and comfortable, from the principal to her teachers. I highly recommend this school!

My son just started kindergarten this week. He can't wait to get to school in the morning, loves his teacher, his classmates, and doing homework! The quality of education is high and worth the bucks.

My child attended the summer camp. She had such a wonderful experience, that we decided to enroll her for the 2009-2010 school year. I was very impressed by the administration, and the teachers I have met. I can't wait for the school year to start.

I agree with the last comment. It was a disgrace to the students on their last day for a few miserable parents to behave so childish. The school is great!

My daughter has attended Merryhill School since pre-K to now... The Staff and Teaching skills are Superior to any all schools I have interviewed before chosing Merryhill. It gives me as a parent confidence in their Teaching skills to produce brilliance in all aspects of learning... from Basic Education and preparing my child to EXCELL in the world today... The Principal shows intense caring and executes Staff Professionalism for each and every student.... Every student that attends is always reviewed and is helped in weaknesses and encouraged twords structuring excellent education.... I would overly and most definately highly reccomend this School... Merryhill Schools should be your number one choice in Education for your child... If you give thought about the school your child attends, Merryhill should your first and your only choice... They care for each and every student individually and as a group... Thank you, Pleased Parent

My experience at Merryhill has been very positive. The teachers are dedicated and really teach students to think, the office staff is friendly, and the vice principal is always willing to help.
Sorry to say, but I do believe the first two people who wrote reviews were correct about the school. I found the vice principle and other staff to be very patronizing with parents and staff. Embarassing teachers in front of parents and students is extremely rude. I also feel my children were not given the best education they could have. The staff were dishonest. I agree about the library. There is also lack of discipline and respect.

My son is in the infant / toddler room and I just love the teachers here. They are very caring and very loving. That's what you need when you are leaving and entrusting your children with someone for sometimes over 8 hours a day! The tuition fee is higher and they have some dys where they require the center to be closed for 'Teacher's training', but the knowledge my son is gaining and the quality of care is well worth it! =) We moved him from Mini Skool (at the Lakes) which is almost $300 less, but I will never take my son anywhere else. We are really happy here at Merryhill Preschool! =)

Sounds like to me that the two parents below had more issuses with administration and less concern for their child. I have to disagree and feel that the 3 years my daughter spent at Merryhill were well worth the money. I believe that the school was very inviting and the students were actually allowed to learn and explore rather than be forced to work on worksheet after worksheet just to pass some test to impress other parents. If you really believe that there isn't gossip at all schools then you need a reality check. For the words spelled incorreclty, always remember we are all human and if you actually knew the amount of work and dedication that teachers put into their jobs then maybe these types of parents should go to school and get their BS in Curr. and Education. Merryhill is the reason my child is flouishing!

Do not waste your money at this school. It seems wonderful from the outside, 'private school' , uniforms, small campus...etc etc. After moving, my son attended a public elementary out of state and was behind in first grade because the kindegarten curriculum goals were not even met. The principal and vice principal were just worried about their outfit for the day and could care less about what was going on academically. The atmosphere was cold and uninviting and I know many parents who moved their child after this school year. I am sick thinking of the money we wasted here. The other thing that makes me sick about this school are the awards ceremonies. They award 1/4 to 1/2 the class for 2 possible awards, give out trophies, and leave a handful of children there feeling awkward. The purpose of an award when most of the class recieves it is...? Run!
