Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

Amazing school! Both my children went there through 5th grade, couldn't be happier. Love the Christian atmosphere and challenging curriculum. Parents are involved in their child's education.

My child attended log this past year however I decided to change him to another private school the staff can be rude at times and the family's are very clickish be prepared to feel this way if you are coming from a public school and the mandatory hours for volunteering is a bit much for busy parents who spend there hard earned money on this school I think it's an ok private school but there is so much better options in Las Vegas for a quality Christian education. Please do your research.

My child attended this school for Pre-K and K. I thought it was great until I moved. My child entered 1st grade in our new district behind the average and in remedial classes. I disagreed at first until I saw what the other kids were actually able to do. I reviewed the Lamb of God report card from Kindergarden and my oldest met or exceeded all measurable expectations. This is also what I recall from conversations with their teacher. This fact plus being placed in remedial courses at the new school is a measurable statistic. My youngest child is now in kindergarden in our new location and I had no idea a school would teach kindergarden kids this much, givem my past experience with kindergarden. I agree Lamb of God set the bar high for Las Vegas but, it still sells you way short. The teachers and staff were all very nice, I just believe their cirriculum was below what is expected outside of Las Vegas. I know choices are slim in Las Vegas, given the condition of public education but, I would caution you from giving them the amount of money required because, the return, measured in education is not worth it. This is only my opinion and I wish you luck in choosing a school.

Lamb of God is a wonderful school. Our daughter is in her third year. She attended part-time preschool, full day kindergarten and now is in 1st grade. Her teachers have all been patient and kind. The class sizes are small. Also, there is a wide range of after school classes such as dance and painting. I highly recommend this school.

The staff at Lamb of God is very caring and nurturing. The students learn so much and it's amazing to watch. All three of our children have enrolled in the pre-school program and their public school teachers have noticed how advanced they are compared to other pre-school programs. We are very happy sending our kids to Lamb of God. I would highly recommend them!

My children have attended Lamb of God for 5 years and I am a completely satisfied parent. I love the warm caring environment that you don't find in most schools. From the teachers my children have had to the teachers that have coach the sports teams, they have all exceeded my expectations and taken a personal interest in all of the kids they work with. The Principal is a refreshing change. She's fair and consistent. She makes herself available and is often present for line up in the morning and again for release in the afternoon. She gives the school a feel of teamwork. I am very grateful for the time we have been at Lamb of God!

Our school is Lamb of God Lutheran School. We love it for it's small size and dedication to the students success. The program is well rounded; focusing on the spiritual, mental and physical aspects of every child.

Our daughter has been at Lamb of God Lutheran School since Kindergarten and we love it! We especially like the school's focus on Math, Technology and Christian Education. The children have access to computer lab, iPads are used for some tests and Promethian boards in some classrooms. The staff is amazing! Our daughter has received a top notch education. We would not hesitate to recommend Lamb of God Lutheran School.

My children have attended this school from Pre-Kindergarden through fifth grade and it has been a blessing. The faculty and staff are very good, but the principal puts the school over the top. Mrs Klipfel is amazing and I cannot imagine my children having a better head administrator overlooking them. I have peace of mind knowing that my children attend this facility every day.

You won't go wrong in choosing this school for your children. My son is in Junior Kindergarten. Everyday I am amazed with the progress he is making with his letter recognition and writing skills. Yet, these important skills are taught in a loving, patient way. My shy boy is happy and confident in this school setting. As a parent I feel safe sending my son to this school. The other parents are invested in their children and friendly. Plus, given the tuition of other private schools in the area you really get a great education with fantastic teachers for a more affordable tuition at Lamb of God.

This school has given my two children not only a great education (they are at least 1.5 years ahead of the public school system) but a graceful peace in learning about the love of Jesus Christ. I can't say enough about the dedication of the teachers and administration to help each and every individual child achieve their best.

I must have toured every preschool within 20 miles of my home before selecting Lamb of God for my son. Two months into the school year, I can't say enough wonderful things about It. He is learning so much so quickly, his behavior at home has improved, and most importantly, he LOVES it! His teachers are so caring and know him individually. Because we are not church members ourselves, I had some trepidation about the religious education my child would be receiving, but we have found it to be entirely age appropriate and, frankly, very sweet. Please do your child the favor of touring this school!

LOG is a fantastic school. My children have been going there for 4 years and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are fantastic and the class sizes are small. The largest class size my children ever had was 17 children. Compare that to Clark County School District and there is no comparison. There is a strong emphasis on math and reading and of course a great Christian education as well. My children are about a year ahead of the public school kids as several of my friends' kids are in public and they are doing what my kids did a year ago. Every classroom is equipped with smartboards. The computer lab is bright and cheery and my 2nd grader was doing powerpoint presentations. The principal is excellent and was named Administrator of the year in 2011 for the Southwest Lutheran Schools District. She works hard to make this school fantastic. The school also just received accreditation through the Lutheran Schools network. I do think the Spanish classes could be improved, though. They use are currently using RosettaStone software. My son's Spanish still seems so limited, but this just may be his young age. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this school with no hesitations.

Lamb Of God Lutheran School is an awesome school! We are new to town and my boys started this August. They absolutely love it! The staff members are very compassionate and love the kids. Both of our boys are striving in the educational environment the school provides. From a parents perspective, we love how organized the staff is and how we are always kept in the loop on upcoming events. We also love that the parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer and be a part of their children's education. Another plus is the smaller class size. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a Christian education with a strong academic emphasis.

My daughter has been at Lamb of God for seven years as she started in preschool. The climate of Lamb of God has not only been successfully academically, but the Christian climate has been warm, nurturing and has given my child a strong foundation. I have been a parent volunteer for years, and have worked closely with administration, teachers and support staff. Everyone has one interest in mind...Student success for all students that enter their doors! I highly recommend and rate LOG and I am sad that we will need to move forward next year as my child graduates 5th grade. My child is a strong leader, determined and intelligent all to the LOG! I cannot thank them enough!

Lamb of God Lutheran school is AMAZING! I feel like my kid is getting a quality education every day when I drop him off. All of his teachers have gone above and beyond to help him have great days and be successful! My only complaint is that the school only goes up elementary and I have no clue what I'm going to do for Middle School without Lamb of God!

Lamb of God Lutheran School is a wonderful, nurturing school who consistantly gives back to the surrounding community through various community events throughout the school year. I have two children who attend this school and they love the teachers, staff and students. Lamb of God has taught them to be kind and caring and about the importance of sharing and giving to those in need. I love this schoo too and have become friends with many of the teachers and all of the parents of the students in my third grader's class. It is a very loving and caring environment, not just the students, but for the families as well.

My son is a student at LLOG, and our family couldn't be happier with the school. The entire staff seems to know every child. The faculty appear to love their jobs and love our children. My child has gained confidence in his own abilities, has improved his interpersonal skills, and come to love school, where before this was not the case. Four year olds should feel smart and loved and confident. LLOG is doing it right.

Lamb of God is what they say they are, which is hard to find in Las Vegas. No politics. Just school. We are active duty AF and having our kids at this school is like having an extended family. We have experience in preschool and elementary and both sides are equal in encouraging kids to realize their potential. We could not be happier in our choice of education. LOG keeps parents informed and welcomes suggestions from parents. I have never had to worry that our kids were taken care of or loved. Kind words, kind hands, kind hearts. That says it all! As far as the educational side, both of our children have grown leaps and bounds academically. In an environment that teaches love, you don't have to worry about common classroom distractions. Time is spent on instruction and play, not disciplining unruly students. Parents can pop in any time of day and the class is the same. Quiet, organized, and productive. What more could you as for as a parent? We highly recommend Lamb of God as a high quality choice in early education.

This is our daughter's 3rd year at LOG and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are great and really work with the parents. There is a family feel because the parents want to be involved and care about their children's education. The Core Knowledge curriculum is awesome and I am always blown away by what my kindergartner is learning. I am happy with the Love and Logic discipline and the challenging atmosphere because it teaches my daughter to strive for more that mediocrity and teaches her responsibility. I would recommend this school to anyone who cares about preparing their children to be kind, responsible, and hard-working adults.

This was my daughters 1st year attending LOG. forced too much on the family. mandatory minimum volunteer hours at the school. child forgets their lunch they don't feed, lunch is ordered online min 2days in advance. money hungry, if you don't pay for something on time they hound you for it. for me as a parent education and Christianity is important. but don't penalize a child for type of penmanship, spelling is more important, you tell me if all the staff as perfect penmanship I don't think so, as long as the child can write legibly and readable it shouldn't matter. school hours is great for our family as we work long hours and grave shift, however not flexible on extracurricular, would usually be on the weeknights, which we couldn't attend due work, very seldom offered on weekends. although school is convenient to location living, not sending her to this school again. on the parent involvement they offer a lot which helps the school but way too demanding and not flexible enough. the principle is great, most family members are friendly, but staff is to high nosed

This is my son's 3rd year at LOG and we couldn't be happier. LOG has small class sizes and an outstanding caring staff. My son is a full grade ahead in math and english and enjoys going to school. This year will be the start of the new Rosetta Stone Spanish program so we are excited about that as well. The principal was named administrator of the year last year and is top notch. She worked very hard to earn that reward and it shows. They use the money they have very wisely and always spend on upgrading curriculmn or adding something they didn't have before. Each class is equiped with smartboards and my son learned the basics of an Excel spreadsheet and a powerpoint presentation at the age of 6. The parents at LOG are also very involved and send their children here b/c they know the public school system is not what it should be. LOG is much cheaper than Merryhill and Challenger and they actually care about your child. Not just the money they get from each pupil. LOG is not about profits, if that was the case they would be charging a lot more. I love the religion the children get and the messages the children get from the scripture such as just being kind to others.

My daughter attended the full day Prek for 2011-2012, we were so impressed with number of things she learned. I like that the bible stories are taught to the children and Christian principles. She is already ahead of the game compared to kindergarten students in public. The only thing that was a disappointment was that they told me that they would have Spanish lesson once a week and dont recall that ever happening. Other than that the school is GREAT for the price considering Challenger is up the street and they want 2 arms and a leg for their education. My daughter is going back for 2012-2013 school year.

Lamb of God was a great school for my child! It prepares students like mine to find success at Faith Lutheran High School. The current principal in her third year was just named Administrator of the year for their district of the LCMS. (Which I learned includes all of AZ, and parts of CA and NV.) If you are in North Las Vegas or the NW area of Las Vegas and want a great, Christian School, please check them out. If you want your child to attend Faith, this is a great feeder school for them as well!

Lamb of God has been an amazing school for our children. The new core knowledge curriculum has young children studying native american tribes, the 7 continents, George Washington Carver, The Wright Brothers and many other areas as kindergarteners that then builds into Anicent Egypt, Ancient Greece, Mediveal Times, Shakepeare and it goes on and on. We love the small class sizes and individual attention the students get. The students are one grade level ahead in math (4th grade is finishing 5/6). The staff as a whole gets along great and creates a family atmosphere. I love that my children are both known by name by all the staff. The principal has done an outstanding job the last few years bringing many improvements to the school. We look forward to our children getting to experience Rosetta Stone Spanish curriculum next year along with the continued computer curriculum Beyond Technology. We feel very blessed to have our children at this wonderful school.

Lamb of God Lutheran School has wonderful teachers and a low student/teacher ratio. The school offers a challenging academic program in a loving, Christian environment. It offers the latest technology in the classrooms such as up to date computers and promethium boards. The school embraces a caring, safe environment for the children. The community of the school is like one big family. My 2 children have been enrolled in the preschool and elementary school for 5 years now and wouldn't dream of sending them anywhere else. We love Lamb of God and we know they are getting the best education.

My son has attended Lamb of God since preschool (4K). Originally, we had planned for him to attend kindergarten at the public school in our area. We were impressed by the preschool and deterred by the public school kindergarten class sizes so we decided to continue his education at Lamb of God for just one more year. Once again, we were so impressed with the curriculum and the school staff that we decided to continue our son's education into first grade, which is were he is at the present time. By the second month of kindergarten, our son was reading and by the end of kindergarten, he was reading chapter books. Both of his teachers for kindergarten and first grade are so supportive of any of his needs and truly care about all of the students succeeding. Also, I love the school having a christian atmosphere.

I don't believe that this review is accurate. "I love the new Core Curriculum and the specials at the school. My child is exposed to Art, Spanish, Science Lab, and others." My child is not as exposed to... Art, and Spanish as mentioned in the prior statement, and we have yet to see a Science lab on the campus. I can verify that my child's lunchbox often comes back home full, she is limited on bathroom breaks during class time and rarely washes her hands during the day (including lunch). The interactive white boards are a great asset to any classroom, if they were used other than a projection screen. The teacher/student ratio is better than public. If your child needs extra attention academically or behaviorly... the school does not have the resources to help. LOG does have some great teachers, but they also have some not so great teachers. If you have a child that is an auditory or visual learner they should do fine (1-5).

This school has definitely had it's tug of war between elementary and preschool. They have had to "clean house" & hopefully refocus as a whole. From other reviews, it's obvious there is a great deal of bitterness. I know my child's education has never suffered. It was a bit frustrating to watch adults behave like children. There was a great deal of animosity before, & the preschool principal left to open her own school. Some of the preschool teachers followed her, but that doesn't mean that the existing staff is not excellent. I don't know of any teacher who has not sent their kids to LOG if they could afford it. My child consistently scores way above average when compared with the same grade across the country. She has attended since preschool and only has a few years left. Whatever troubles existed, never affected my child's education. I was one of the furious parents when the tug of war was happening, but I kept my child there cautiously and watched to make sure it did not affect the quality of her education. It did not. It's a small school. People are passionate when it comes to their kids. Give it a try, and if it works for you, then great. If it doesn't, then leave.

Lamb of God has a highly experienced staff and principal who truly care about students and their education. My child has received an exemplary education and is advanced compared to peers. The school features a caring Christian environment combined with the Core Curriculum, technology and extra curricular activities. I would encourage anyone looking for a private school in the northwestern valley to consider Lamb of God.

My children have attended Lamb of God from preschool and now into the elementary school. I am very impressed with the teachers and prinicipal. It is a very loving enviroment and the teachers know and care about all of the students even if they are not in their class. We are impressed with the curriculum and the school's focus on technology. The school is helping our family to instill Christian values to our children. Most parents are very involved in the school. We recommended LOG to two families this year and they will be starting at the preschool in the fall. We stay because our kids love going to school everyday and we are very happy with their academic achievements and progress.

My child came to Lamb of God in 5th grade after attending public school for years. She was so far behind in all areas and very shy and withdrawn. Thanks to extra care and help from her teacher, within a few months, she was catching up and and had made many friends. She got involved with the sports and after school activities and went from hating school, to loving it and coming home telling me everything she had learned! She left 5th grade a different student than when she had started and I am so thankful to her wonderful teacher and Lamb of God.

Lamb of God Elementary School has quality, caring educators and a very experienced principal. For these reasons and the support of the new pastor, the elementary school will continue to thrive. The recent additions of Core Curriculum and white boards will enhance these positive attributes. The teacher-student ratio is great. My child has been very happy at this school and scores well above the national average in standardized tests. This school is on the right path.

Hilarious reading the comments... love how people either know whats going on or are completely clueless to the situation. Anyways not a bad school but defiantly not a great one, it has such great potential if the administration can just keep from tearing each other apart. With the pastor and new principal (who is now in charge of the preschool too) I think they are finally on the right track.... we'll see what happens.

The kindergarten program at this school is exceptional! The teachers are highly qualified, experienced, and love what they are doing. The teachers believe teaching is a ministry and the quality Christian education the children receive is priceless. My daughter came out of the three year old preschool class reading and has simply flourished in kindergarten this year. All the technology in the world cannot take the place of a caring and committed teacher, eager students, and supportive parents. This school is a blessing!

I am so sad at the turn of events that have occurred over the last few years. My family had to leave after witnessing the lack of support the church and preschool administration offers the elementary school. So many church members are like us and have finally moved on because the fight for what is right is going nowhere. If you are considering enrolling your child(ren) at Lamb of God Lutheran, please know that there have been many issues brought to the School Board's attention and when the board prepares to handle them properly, members of the board are quietly no longer on the board. This school was flourishing and now is not. It is only right to look at what changed - leadership!

The school had great teachers but every else involved can't get their act together. The school has been open for 6 years and has had 6 different principals- because of the pastor. You would never guess this was a church based school with the way the pastor and his wife interact with students and parents.

Very disappointed with this school. When my children went to another Christian school they were way behind. Yes, the school is loving, but if they are not meeting the standards in education, what are you setting your child up for? I have actually heard of people that have gone from Lamb of God to public school and their kid is behind. That is unheard of!! Where is the money going? Its not going for curriculum, maybe for the fancy plastic grass????

I am very disappointed of the post on March 31st. If anything, the preschool is a very loving and caring place to send your children. The preschool director is also loving and caring to the children and her staff. How sad to say that they question the motives of the pastor. The only motives that the pastor has it to bring the children and their families closer to God. I agree with the post on April 12th. If your whole heart is not into the preschool, school or church then maybe that isn't the place for you.

I have to disagree about people bashing the preschool director. With all classrooms full to capacity, with waiting lists, I'd say the director is going above and beyond! I know so many families that love the preschool, and it's entire staff. She has been there for many families in their time of need. There has been turnovers at both schools, not just the preschool. People leave for various reasons. That church is absolutely not lacking in spiritual leadership. They have always welcomed everyone with open arms. You shouldn't join a church just because of the school. Your heart should be there, and if it's not, you need to leave. For the record, I've heard a lot of people say nice things about the Pastor.

My kids went to this school for one year and when they went to another private school in town they were behind. Way over priced! There are no specials like p.e, Spanish, art, etc. Very stuffy when it comes to the religious aspect. The best move our family did was to drive 10 miles down the rode to go somewhere else!

It's unfortunate that when administration and staff change it means that the school is bad. Also, it's unfortunate that when parents and church members don't get their way they can go to websites like this and bash a great establishment. Lamb of God is truly a blessing to all who come across it if they take the time to see it. There are beautiful people here who are dedicated to the children and Christian learning. The Pastor loves the schools and doing chapel services for the children. My children are both excelling in their programs and I couldn't be happier with this experience. With anything, there is always room for change and improvement. I would suggest you consider Lamb of God for your childrens education.

I am one of the parent's that witnessed what happend at the LOG when the teachers left. I and others saw and heard first hand the unprofessional ways of the director towards the teachers. why would so many leave if they where happy? The director has to save face or probably would be fired. Those of us that where there are not gossiping , we know the truth. Plus I and others pulled our kids and now we have to get our kids caught up because they are 1 year behind. Whoever wrote the last letter the word is hear not here.. is that how LOG teaches grammer?

This school is full of great intentions. I placed my children in this school for the sole purpose of being spiritually led. The problem is that I don't feel that the staff members follow the guidance of the holy spirit. In the office, they are more concerned with tuition hikes and who's who at lamb of God. As a former church member, I am still a 2nd rate citizen b/c we are a family in the working middle class. Too bad. The school is in a great location and all, however the concept of modeling a christian lifestyle is lost. Also, My children placed a whole grade level below in the clark county school district. So not only did we miss out on the christian atmosphere, we also are behind in academics. So sad. Keep this school in your prayers

My daughter just graduated Pre-K from LOG with Mrs. Stone's class. She exceeded my expectations for both quality of teaching and genuine care for the children! Unfortunately, she and other Preschool and Pre-K teachers are leaving this year due to mismanagement and an unprofessional director. I witnessed the unprofessionalism myself and think it is sad that the school will lose such accomplished teachers! The teachers I experienced were great, but they can only do so well in a broken system.

I am so sad to say that this school is not worth the money. I wanted the Christian environment. My child got the christian education in the lessons taught, however the people, teachers, administrative staff fails time and again to demonstrate. That aside, after 2 years of paying the high prices of this school, my LOG straight A student has placed an entire grade level behind for clark county schools. We will be spending a ton of money on tutors this summer to get her up to par so that she does not have to repeat 2nd grade.

My child attended pre K through first grade at LOG. While it was a great place for her to socialize and make friends, now that she is not in a private school she is having a hard time testing for the 'no child left behind' standards. She made good grades at Lamb of God and I thought she would be ahead in public school. Reading is emphasized and she excells in reading, but the writing requirements are not up to snuff. The tuition prices are raised every year and it can be really steep if you have more than one child enrolled. I always felt that it was a safe school and the teachers and faculty are nice but you do not get the education that you pay for. The preschool has a high turnover but always seem to hire great people.

A very uppety school. People here are more concerned with how things look than how they really are. My daughter tested way below where she needs to be... she is currently a straight 'A' student at LOG. according to clark county she is an entire grade behind where she should be. When I brought this to the schools attention, instead of fixing the problem, they just suggest I get a tutor.

My 3 year old daughter attends the preschool at Lamb of God and we love it. I feel so comfortable with the loving teachers. She is learning so much! Even during snack time they are learning math by counting out their own snack. I know my precious little girl is safe and well nurtured through out her day. I recommend the school very highly.

My son is in the three year old program at Lamb of God preschool. I am so impressed with the staff and with all of the things he is learning. He comes home singing songs about Jesus every day!

Not a good school. Not worth the high tuition fees. My child is way behind his public school peers in the same grade level. We will not be returning to this school.

My son is a student at Lamb of God; we are thrilled with he education he is obtaining; well surpassing that of friends his age in the public schools. He has wonderful friends. He is learning respect, kindness, the love of God. It has been a wonderful experience for the entire family.

I'm a student here at Lamb of God and this place is great. The teachers are nice and the education I get is great. This school is very clean, and all students get the same amount of respect as the others. I hope to see new people here at Lamb of God very soon.

This is a great school. My child has had only positive things happen at this institution. Each instructor/teacher has been academically pursuant, appropriately so. The rules have always been very clear and understandable enforced in appropriate and acceptable manner. I would encourage any parent to send their children to this school.

Lamb of God School and Church is the best school I have ever been to. I have been there since preschool. If you are a parent who has a child in grades preschool-5th, your child should go. The teachers and principal are the best part of the school. They are all nice, kind and loving.

This is already a great school! We have had our children here for three years, at both the preschool and the elementary. They are growing so much academically and spiritually and love going to school every day and know that their teachers love them. The teachers are amazing! This is a school worth checking out.

This can be a great school. There is just such a variation between each person who works there, that it is really a toss up. My child attended for 3 years. The 1st 2 years we had amazing teachers. The 3rd year we left at the semester. The discipline is excessive for minor issues and the parents are not notified of discipline actions. There are no 'set rules' - each staff member seems to make up their own, and those can change daily. My child was afraid to go to school, not knowing what the new 'rules' would be that day. There is little principal involvement, and a large staff turnover.

My daughter participates in after school sports (that teachers volunteer to coach because they love the kids), Mad Science, etc. She's also grown spiritually, asking 2 neighborhood friends to attend church with her! Check it out for yourself and make your own decision based on what you see and the people you meet.

After moving our child out of Lamb of God into a different school we found that we are very behind in math and are having to work extra hard with a tutor 2x a week to get caught up. This is also a child who was very bored doing repeated work. We are so happy we changed to a different school!

This was our 4th year and are taking our child out mid-year. There are no after school activities, very little supervision during recess, and the curriculum, even at this point in the year, is still review. I don't feel I am getting anything for the price of tuition. The administration does not seem interested in the teaching of the children, rather the check from the parents. Check around, I am sure you can find a better school when it comes to the actual teaching and nurturing of the child.

I think they are trying hard, but not quite there. This administration seems to be only concerned with dollar signs. This school charges so much more than what they offer. I pulled my child who was getting straight a's out of this school. When she tested at the public school, she was so far behind. How does that happen? What did we pay for all of those years? From perfect student to barely making it.

We have been at this school for 3 years at both the pre-school and elementary side. It has been a wonderful experience for my children. The staff is super and very caring. They are learning above what our public school is teaching and also receiving Christian education on a daily basis. They go to all extra classes during the week - PE, Computer, Spanish, Library, Music...etc. The PTL is great and does a lot for the school & students - Way to Go Lamb of God!

My son attends pre-k here and I can't say enough good things about this preschool. It is so much more than 'daycare.' Children attend weekly chapel services. They are taught values, discipline, and respect. They have tons of fun too! The academics are presented in a fun way, but the children are definitely learning all the time. It is a very friendly and loving environment. It seems more like an extension of our family than just some place we drop our son off. Parents of preschoolers are also welcome to participate in the elementary school's PTA so parental involvement seems to be high. They have a nice play area and they work hard to keep things in good condition. This is our 3rd preschool in Las Vegas and we absolutely love it.

I am a parent of 2 children in the elementary side and I think they should test the teachers and find out how much they know and if they can teach these children. My children are above level and were tested at public school level and I think if we are paying so much for this school and trying to support it there should be a better teaching system since some of the teachers are new and some are just disappearing for other schools to teach at.My children are there to learn and grow and not to be just given homework for the parents to do,and also that the parents say has nothing to do with anything since the staff does whatever they think is right.I really think this school has potential but they need to improve on the teachers way of teaching.

This school really needs to get there act together if they want to continue to stay open. They need to make sure the teachers on the elementary side are all on the same level, and they really need to teach private school material not public school material. They just need be on top of the teachers and making sure that they are teaching what us parents are paying for them to teach. I think they should test the teachers on whatever grade they are teaching and make sure the teachers know what they are teaching. I pulled my 2 children for that reason since they were on public school level and I was paying all this money for what

I have a son in 1st grade and one in the 3-4 yr old program. My 1st grader is way ahead of his class and is bored. My 4yr old has not learned anything new this year from school. We will not return although I really wanted a Christian environment. The front office and bookkeeping are a train-wreck. My bill should have been the same every month and often times was off. I have been disappointed in the whole year. I have not personally disliked any of the teachers or staff but do feel like this year has been a waste of money.

This school is not worth the money. My experiences have only been with the elementary end of the school. Most of the teachers are good, but they all follow different standards. No continuity from grade to grade. My kids are above nevada average, however I work with them a lot at home. The population is not diverse. The kids that go there are from the families that can afford it. And it appears that is how the school wants it. They want families who wont question their prices and write out that check every month. Please, do your research before going to this school!

My children have attended LOG since 2001. I would highly recomend this school to anyone that cares about the well being of their child. I have never given a second thought about thier safty or their well being. LOG is staffed with some of the most good hearted people Ive ever met. I am also very pleased with the education my child is getting. My 8 year old is testing in the 90th percent in the nation. He is learning spanish and religion, theese are things that public school does not offer. He is haapy and is surrounded by positivity and love, that is priceless. I can not say enough wonderful things about the administration, staff, and well roundedness of this program. If you are a parent worried about where to go, I urge you to check out LOG as you will indeed be satisfied. And some.

Don't be fooled by this school. While it is a private school, it seriously has some problems. There are no standards. All of the teachers as good as they may be do 'their own thing' without regard to what needs to be completed to move on to the next grade in the school. I wanted an alternative to Clark county school district and also wanted a Christian atmosphere for my child. I got neither one. no sense of family or care for the individual student. Most of the teachers are great, but the environment really holds them back in their teaching. Look elsewhere!

My child fell behind after paying six grand a year for her education. Thankfully, I was able to supplement her learning and get her back up to par. Consider homeschooling, before this school. Otherwise look some place else or keep them in public school.

My child attends Lamb of God Preschool and I could not be more impressed. My four year old recently tested for Kindergarten and his scores put him at a First Grade Level. He is writing his first and last name, as well as counting to 100 and learning beginning sight words. Five weeks into the school year we were at an intersection and he told me that the stop sign was an octagon and that it had 8 sides. He is more than ready for Kindergarten thanks to the wonderful teachers and their 'hands-on' approach to learning. My child loves school and looks forward to going to class because he is having so much 'fun'. With the 'hands-on' approach to teaching, he doesn't realize how much he is learning and is absorbing so much information because it is presented to him in an exciting manner. I highly recommend the Preschool!

We are also taking our children out of Lamb of God after several years both preschool and school. We have loved our teachers and principal is trying, but with another increase the school is more expensive than other private schools with less to offer. The teachers are responsible for their own cirriculum some using public school information! I strongly recommend another preschool than LOG. The new director for last 3 years believes in hands on and I can say that my first child under old staff learned much more and was ready for kindergarten, my third child was not ready at all - had to get tutoring! We pay too much at this school and get far less in return!

We are taking our kids out of this school this year, after 5 years! The principal is a 'stand in' because the first principal moved out of state, They are in unison, however, with math, they are using Saxon math, the same as public schools in my area,& at the same pace! What are we paying for? The religion is great, but is it worth the full price? Spanish is taught with a CD, I think Dora taught my kids more Spanish! The chapel is were everyone meets & is too small for the whole school so programs are split up to accomadate. No gym or stage. They need help!

My child has attended LOG for 3 years. Two of the three teachers were excellent and really cared about educational needs and approaches. The school is growing and with it comes some issues that larger schools have. The parent teacher league seems more evident and parents are more involved than public schools. I don't know if we get a better education but the environment is more 'small town' and friendly.

My daughter has attended LOG for 5 years. She scored in the 98 percentile for her Iowa test scores. I have been pleased with the work load and what she learned thus far. The school has changed greatly over the years. It used to be quality over quantity for the students and families, and now they seem to take anyone and don't care about losing the good ones. It is priced way to high for what the offer. I do not consider Spanish class a DVD that the teacher puts in for an hour and then tests the kids. Be careful and weigh other options. I did love her teachers and she loved them too.

My son attended Lamb of God for three years. He had one great year, one good year, and one miserable year. This was all based on the experience of the teacher and their expectations as teachers. The principal is nice but a bit wishy-washy, and the school board is okay. Nice building, good curriculum over-all. If you're considering the school become involved and ask questions if something doesn't seem right. The school needs parent involvement AND oversight to fulfill its true purpose.
