The only good thing about this school is the Principal - Mr. Kabala. Other than that, there are way too many kids per classroom. Half the kids don't even speak English. Field trips consisted of them walking to the library! Kids should be able to go on field trips, other than a library. Cafeteria/ auditorium is way too small. I don't believe my kids got the best education they should have there. They need to downsize each class. Teachers should be paid as much as lawyers and doctors. These people are teaching our future, our kids.

2004-2005 School year: This school has been a terrible experience for my daughter and myself. There is an overwhelming amount of children in the lower grades who don't speak english, taking time away from more acclerated students. There were no field trips this year for my daughter. There are very little programs for parents to attend after school. The school often runs out of paper. There is overcrowding at the school. I have been looking into other alternatives, seems it's to late for that at this point (May) I was never made aware of the magnent or charter schools until now unfortuneatly. I have leared at this school there is NO programs for accelarated students.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Nevada used the Criterion Referenced Test (CRT) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and in grades 5 and 8 in science and writing. The CRT is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Nevada. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
