I'm an aunt who has 8 nieces and nephew who attend Stead. I was disappointed in the way that one of the teachers spoke to their grandmother in front of other parents and children

I have 2 children at this school and have been so impressed by the staff at this school and how everyone genuinally cares about the kids and wants them to succeed as much as I do!

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Nevada used the Criterion Referenced Test (CRT) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and in grades 5 and 8 in science and writing. The CRT is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Nevada. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
