I am a Senior at TMCC Magnet High School, and I also went to this school for my junior year. This school is awesome! I had really given up on public schools in this county. I just did not fit into the 'cheerleader' profile, and I felt left out at all of the other schools. TMCC HS provides excellent classes with great teachers. The teachers are willing to spend as much time as you need to help yuo with anything. They are very dedicated and loving teaching, and it shows in the classroom. They definitely preapre you gfor your college classes, and then some. Teh fact that you can take college classes, and the county pays for them is also great! I will be graduating this year with 38 college credits, and you noly need 62 to get an associates degree. I love the school and reccomend it to everyone!

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Nevada used the High School Proficiency Examination (HSPE) to assess high school students in reading, writing, math and science. The combined results for the first administration in grade 10 and the second administration in grade 11 are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. The HSPE is a high school graduation requirement. The HSPE is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Nevada. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
