i am a parent and looking for a school to my daughter who is 11 years old, and i heard that sage school is great in preparatory college and i am interested to enroll my daughter in this school.
I have two children at Sage Ridge and the curriculum and teachers are outstanding. I have a child in 9th grade who is doing work beyond my college experience. If your child goes to Sage Ridge High School, you can rest assured they will be beyond prepared for college. I also have a 6th grader and he will be well prepared for High School. It is a safe, friendly, environment and I highly recommend.
SRS is a wonderful school. The curriculum is top of the line. The faculty are dedicated and caring. My daughter has truly blossomed at the school and looks forward to attending every day. She has had many opportunities that she would not have had elsewhere. I cannot recommend it enough!
I was truly amazed with the quality of Sage Ridge. I felt that my son was getting the quality of an education he could have gotten at an Ivy League University. He will attend there for his high school education.
I am student at Sage Ridge for the last 5 years...in terms of education its the best in the area....it has a great graduation rate....most of the students attend great colleges and last year and the year before students were accepted to Stanford, Yale, Brown, and Harvard. The teachers are so helpful and the school is constantly improving...the extracurriculars are significantly improving...the only thing that I didn't enjoy was the small community which does make SRS unique and gives it a sense of community....
Hey, I am an alumni from last year. I go to a top 100 University in the country. I am also a major donor to Sage Ridge. I loved my education there. It is the best school in Northern Nevada. Opportunities were given to me to go anywhere in the Reno/Sparks area. I chose Sage Ridge. I dont have one regret. The education is amazing. The student/teacher ratio is small and personal. The 'quality' is amazing. If you dont believe me, then look at the college acceptance list from last year on www.sageridge.org Best school in Nothern Nevada. Sage Ridge made me a responsible scholar.
I was truly disappointed with the quality of sage ridge. I felt that my son was not getting nearly the quality of an education he could have gotten at a public school. He no longer attends there
I like SRS because of the student:teacher ratio
Sage Ridge School is an amazing oppurtunity for students from 5th grade up to 12th grade. With small size and personal teacher relationships, I feel like I can approach a teacher not only as a mentor, but as a friend. I love talking to the teachers and my peers are basically my family. I also feel like Sage Ridge is mainly known for its curriculum which is amazing. In 10th grade I was reading college level books (even some in ninth grade)! Books my friends read as seniors I had already read in middle school. This is not a chance to brag; however, I think it's important when considering schools, to consider how rigorous the academics are. Anybody can do well in a class with little homework and easy assignments. At Sage Ridge, I'm forced to push myself and work hard to earn my grades.
All-Star faculty and administration. Diverse curriculum with vast opportunities. High standards but outstanding faculty raises student's performance. Code of conduct embraced by all students and faculty. Somewhat limited athletic opportunities due to size but excellent physical education program/teachers.
