Both of my children graduated from Proctor, and went on to successful college careers (Colby, UNH) but this is much more than a college prep school. Proctor defines education in holistic terms; it offers life education by teaching responsibility. The breadth of the curriculum allows students to customize experiences, so each students grows as an individual. No cookie-cutter here!

Proctor Academy is quickly becoming one of the most prestigous schools in the nation. The faculty to student ratio is amazing, while at the same time, not overwelming for the students. The classes are challenging and AP courses are offerend in many subjects. The athletics at this school are top notch, with many of the teams cometeing in the NEPSAC tournements. There are also experiential programs at this school. Some being spain, france, europeon, costa rican, morrocan, mountain, and ocean classrooms. These programs last an entire term , in which the student becomes one with the new culture, while living with a host family, and still going to classes involving the school. This is an excellent school that is recognized by the top colleges in the country. Each year, 100% of the students attend the college of their choice. Overal rating of this school, a powerful, dominating 10.
