Academic focus and philosophy

Educational philosophy and approach to learning Crossroads was one of the first independent schools in the nation to adopt—and then expand—the sequential, classic curriculum based on the Core Knowledge philosophy as developed by E.D. Hirsch. Our curriculum is integrated with a unique Core Virtues Program, a character education program created by our founder.
