From day one in daycare, my grand child was exposed to sign language. What I noticed is that even before children learned language, they were signing and were not fussy, frustrated or prevented from give and take with peers, siblings and their families. Moreover, their ability to transfer this skill beyond the World Academy doors was amazing to behold. The children learned this early from a skilled staff and for some, it could be a wonderful career in the future. They continue this study throughout the grades and this stimulation makes them better students, more cognizant of body language, helps develop attention skills and is just alot of fun. I learned this in college years ago but to see my grandchild do this as a toddler at this school makes me stand in awe. Thanks everyone,

There is so much right about this school. It is student/family focused and teacher supportive. The facilities/campus are beautiful and the climate and culture is conducive to learning and safety. It is truly all about the children here. Curriculum is continually evolving and new ways of delivering education so that students embrace it are constantly being utilized. I am grateful I work here and that my children attended this school. The public system has formally acknowledged that our students are at least a half to a full year above standard grade level and the success of our graduates speaks for the quality of their foundation.

This school not only has a a great STEM program starting from early elementary but also strong language and music programs as well as after school sports programs such as soccer, track and basketball . Our children started as toddlers and have continued through elementary and middle school here. They are happy and enthusiastic students. We highly recommend World Academy.

My children have been going to World Academy for 5 years and I couldn't be happier with the pace of their learning and the positive environment at the school. My experience is that the teachers are all very capable and caring. They do an excellent job of tailoring the school work plan to the individual child's level and needs. I would recommend this school to any parent considering it.

World Academy has provided a wonderful environment for our two children for the past five years! They have attended their day care program, full day Kindergarten program and now both are in their elementary school. The teachers challenge them to stretch themselves and their minds providing a solid foundation for their education in a safe and supportive environment while keeping parents informed, connected and engaged. We are very pleased with the education and opportunities they are receiving at World Academy!

My daughter attended this school until her graduation in 6th grade. She continued on in public school where she qualified for AP in the majority of her classes. She is now a Senior at Simmons College in Boston working toward her DPT in Physical Therapy. World Academy provided her a solid foundation that assisted her greatly with her future schooling. In addition to the academic strength, many of the friendships formed in the small class environment continue to this day.

My child was in the young toddler room last year and it was amazing. Unfortunately both teachers left after having children but I am praying they both return. My child learned so much and grew academically and socially. The teachers were always willing to go the extra mile to listen and help out. I am so glad my child was in this room.

Teachers are extraordinary and take very good care of the kids. I have my child in the Preshool 3's & Preschool 4's for 2 yrs now and haven't had any complaints. No other Preschool offers Sign Language, Gym and Music class. Very clean and hygienic environment. And the fact that it has a whole regular school environment add to the activities, picnics, field trips etc that they organize every year.My daughter misses school so much on weekends and never wants to take a day off.

I chose The World Schools for my children specifically because of the academics of the school. My children have thrived and excelled there. The staff makes parents feel like part of the family which works together as a team in support of the students. My wife and I feel that our children are safe and secure in the school environment and the comprehensive activities the school offers makes it great for the whole family.

I have two children in the World Schools because of the quality of education at the school, not for the day care program. They have sign language, computers, art, music, and gym starting in preschool and then French beginning in Kindergarten. Class sizes are much smaller than public schools and the kids get attention and nurturing. All of the families value education and there are not disruptive antics in the classroom. The before and after school program does serve multiple schools, but it is optional (you can opt to pay for school only.) It is true that most kids leave after Kindergarten, but that is because many of them are from towns that don't offer public K or their K program is only 2-3 hours.

Our children (3) have been in the school for several years. We have had wonderful experiences in some classrooms, and generally acceptable experiences in others. As mentioned in the prior review, the before and after school programs as well as summer camp program make this a very convenient school for working parents. The classroom sizes are small, and there are several non-standard classes offered (such as French beginning in Kinder.). Overall, we find it a safe environment, with small classes which offers extra attention for each child.

Academics are not their strong suit unfortunately, but they have a first rate before and after school program which helps working parents a lot. But, the program is open to students from many schools which makes it feel a lot like organized chaos. We went one year and will transfer out. Most parents leave after K -- there is only one grade of 1 - 5 and 5/6 are combined!

Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
