A new principal is bringing a new spark to this excellent school. My child has enjoyed eight years in this school, taught by caring and dedicated people. Effective communication remains the weakest link in an otherwise excellent school community.

It is a rare and wonderful thing when your children can receive an education from the teachers who taught you. That shows the true dedication of the teachers at Plymouth Elementary School!

Within the dismal world that is public education in central and northern NH, PES is a good school. However, that isn't much of a complement. We moved here when our daugher was going into fourth grade, and her assessment was that most of the year was review from her previous year out of state. The principal is disengaged to the extent that after two years, my daugher still doesn't know who he is. I didn't meet him for more than a year. There is little money for field trips and kindergarden is still only half day (but then, 30% of NH towns have no kindergarden at all--none!). There is a temporary after school program that lets parents work, but it is over after this next year.

Outstanding in every way! After having had 3 children go through this school, I can say this with confidence. All of my children's academic, social, athletic, and emotional needs were met. The principal's respect for children, teachers, and families is evident as soon as you walk through the door. This is a great school.

Wish there was better whole-school communication. Other than that, it is a very good school.
