I am a parent of two children in the PRHS. Both of my kids have had a positive experience in this school. The Principal is phenomenal! He knows these kids and has their best interest at heart at all times. The teachers are professional and caring. The school has recently revamped their freshman program to make the transition into the school a success. They are preparing these kids to succeed in high school as well as college and are doing a great job at it. I think this is an excellent school.
I don't know when these reviews were written but I would like to make it clear I'm writing this review in 2005. Although there may be minor bus problems I want to make it clear that these problems are being worked on at this very moment. This is because taking constructive critism is one of prhs's best qualities, they address every single issue. And there will always be bullying no matter what but i can guaruntee prhs does not just brush this issue aside. Any student caught bullying can even go to court if the iffraction is serious enough. Any comment you have will be handle with respect and curtisy by prhs it's just a matter of actually presenting your problem to them. There are no longer any areas prhs lacks in and every student is very happy with the school which is what really matters.
i would rate this school a 4.5 i currently attend this school and i read the previous rating on this school and thought it was all wrong cause i go on the bus it talks about and its not crammed. it i also noticed that it was posted in september which if the parent went to the school they would know the every but is a little over packed in the frist month also i know the owner of the bus company the school can not do anything about the bus size onl the bus company. the thing about the name calling in the post before this the thing is if they were called names they probaly did something to desevre it cause there is much name calling in this school. so to all the people would read this listen to he kid not the parents who doesn't go there.
I gave this school an overall score of two. I find it hard coming home to a child who has been called cruel names. Plymouth Regional High school should have a better policy on trying to minimize this behavior, like more teachers out in te hallways. The busses at PRHS leave five minutes after the afternoon bell has rung, there is no time whatso ever for my child to go to her locker and get on the bus. Another part of the bus situation is the bus that my daughter rides is unbeliveably cramed. I think that this school shoud use some more of te money to get a new bus for the Campton/Thornton area bus number 84. I wish that in the future I can administier a better report.
