Maple Street School 5

This is an amazing school and it's sad that a mother who is upset that her kids did not get the lead in the play tries to disparage the wonderful things happening at that school. My son loves this school and the teachers. It is a school of choice. She should send her kids else where.

All of the teachers are amazing! I haven't experienced the new teacher, Ms. Bond but have heard she is so sweet, kind and a great teacher. Ms. Boudreau is energetic and gets kids. Mrs. Muzzy is gentle and understanding. My child loved her. Mrs. Glidden is great! Mrs. Cantrell works so hard for the school and it wouldn't be what is is without her. All of the kids love her. Awesome teacher! Mrs. Cunliffe is cooky and fun!

My child has learned so much. Not only is he learning the necessary academics, but is learning about the world through hands on experiences. If your child is willing to learn, these teachers are SO READY to teach them!

My child's homework is challenging but meaningful. Writing, reading, and a review of the math skill they are working on. Most kids can handle that and accomplish it fairly easily.

The teachers at this school are amazing and caring. They have a Friday morning meeting every week and parents can go watch their child be recognized for accomplishments. I wish I could go more often!

The teachers are fair and treat ALL students with respect and kindness. Some parents don't like to follow the rules (like parking in the handicapped spot when you don't have the right) and so they think the teachers aren't fair for making them follow the rules.

Amount of homework: Too much

Mostly busywork instead of homework of substance. This busywork takes my children 4-5 hours to complete every night.

How can you expect the students to develop respect if they are not being respected by tbeir teachers?
