My wife and I absolutely love this school. Our daughter is finishing up her 3rd year there and we couldn't be happier. Our daughter loves it there. It is a great staff, academics are top notch, the dedication of the staff is the best.. my daughter loves going to school everyday, that should tell you something. The school building is beautiful and well kept. It is a great environment. We feel like we have found a hidden gem.

My special needs son attended preschool at Salem Christian for about six weeks. The principal and teacher did not know how to accomodate him. If you have a child with special needs, I cannot recommend this school.

My husband and I are very pleased with the quality of the education offered at Salem Christian School. The staff cares about each and every child in the school. They go out of their way to help where help is needed. When my oldest child graduated from the school, the one thing that stuck out about being in public school was that the teachers really did not 'love' her like the teachers at SCS did. It was quite an adjustment. I would not trade my children's education at SCS for anything in the world. They are who they are partially because they have had loving and caring teachers in their lives. Thank you to all of the faculity and staff at the school for putting Christ first in their lives, and letting that show to the children in their card day after day.

I have been attending this school since sceond grade and will be graduating this year .The quality of the academic programs at this school is atrocious. The books are torn and falling apart and the teachers are more often off topic than talking about what they are supposed to. Most subjects are more behind than they would be at a normal public school. Art is probably the best part of this school because the art teacher is absolutely amazing. There are no sports at this school. The only extracurricular activities at this school is bowling club and ballet. The dress code is unbelieveable in the worst way possible.

I absolutely LOVE Salem Christian School!!! One of our daughters graduated in 2002 and our other daughter came in 2nd grade. She was told that she was 'learning disabled' at her First Grade public school. She just needed a loving, disciplined, Bible-baased curriculum. She went 5 years & was an honor roll student. I agree with every word that the previous writer wrote. We moved to the Midwest in 2003, and the one thing that we miss DEARLY is SCS! Mrs. Spencer, Mr. Long, Mrs. Wayman, Mrs. Haynes, Mrs. Papia, Mrs. Salcito, Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Hanson, and all of the staff & teachers are the best.

My daugter is finishing up her first year and my husband and I are just thrilled about how much she has learned this year. The staff is like family and the children are held to a certain standard for behavior which is important to us. Her academics are fantastic. We love that she is free to speak about religion.

We couldn't be happier with Salem Christian School. Our son is completing his first year there, and he has blossomed. The low student-teacher ratio means my child has received the individual attention he needs. His education has been well rounded, with all the traditional subjects, art, music, phys. ed and Bible studies, as well as a weekly school-wide chapel session on Wednesdays. He has grown academically, socially and spiritually. He knowledge of right and wrong, appropriate boundaries, and what God wants for us, has grown tremendously. We are tremendously pleased that he is in a safe, secure environment, where learning is encouraged and rules are enforced, something you don't always see in public education. We love the sense of community, that teachers, staff, parents and children are all working together to improve the school environment and prepare the students for their future endeavors. I give the school a resounding A-plus!
