I now have two children at Sutton Central, and have been thrilled with every aspect of this school. The principal has a wonderful way with the students, making each feel special and appreciated in the school community. They do a wonderful job encouraging interaction amongst the different grades, which I can only imagine helps kids transition to the (much larger) Regional Middle School after fifth grade. My wife and I made the determination to move to Sutton based on the quality of the school system, and we have not regretted our choice.
Sutton Elementary is a good school with solid community support. We have been very happy with the teachers and staff. The only drawback is that the school is small with limited facilites (the gym doubles as the lunch room)...On the bright side the class sizes are small.
