Wentworth Elementary School - Home of The Falcons is a small K-8 school nestled in the White Mountains. It was exactly what I was looking for when I was looking to move from a large city. The class sizes are small and the children receive much more one on one attention that they would in a larger school. The staff invests all of themselves into helping each child reach their potential. The parents are always welcomed and the teachers and open and proactive in reaching out to parents with any issues that arise. The PTO raises money through the year with bake sales, dime a dips and the annual penny social so that they can help keep the school ski program affordable to families. This is a great school. It has Character, Integrity and Success.
The school is excellant however the school board has convinced the town to let two of the teachers go for the 2012-2013 year. The school is grades k-8 and now will have five teachers teaching those nine grades. I believe this will negatively effect the learning of the students at the school.
Our mission is to inspire and support families to champion their children's education - at
school, at home and in their community. We are a national non-profit with offices and programs
