North is a great school and has been an overall good experience for me. I am currently enrolled as a Junior and North has given me the space I need to grow academically. The honors and AP programs are great and the students are very driven. If you're an honors student at North, you will probably excel and get into a prestigious college, but it's easy to get lost in the cracks of this large school if you're in all college prep or core classes. The school is very safe and friendly, but many of the students try in school for the wrong reasons. Most of the honors students don't really care about their subjects at all, they just want to look good for colleges. Overall though, North is a great facility with great academics.
This school was amazing. My children all received and excellent education and were all accepted in prestigous colleges. I would recommend this school district to any parent who really want the best for their children.
This was a wonderful school to attend. Great quality of academic programs. Many extracurricular activities and much parent involvement. Very safe school environment
I actually graduated from North Hunterdon in 2002. I thought it was an amazing school. In a great area with really great teachers and staff. I loved my high school career!
I'm actually a former student from North Hunterdon. I went to North for my first two years of high school but moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. I was so amazed at how good North was compared to the high schools in Utah. I believe I was privileged to go to school at North Hunterdon after seeing what it was like to go to a different high school. Not only are North's teachers amazing and dedicated to their work, the school's atmosphere is generally very safe and welcoming. There is no gang activity, and the graduation rate is so high. When I moved to Utah, about 1/16 of the girl students in my grade had either been or were pregnant, but at North, I had only known about one teenage pregnancy in the whole school when I was there. I recommend North to anyone who wants their children to succeed.
