I do think teacher are doing there best as far as teaching the kids. But as fard really don't as the princeple they seem not to hear what the parent has to say.I really think the principle just don't care.

My child is doing very well at Thurgood Marshall. All she gets is high honor roll. Thurgood is an excellent school for academic success. Though Thurgood used to be bad, they cleanded up and now they are one of the best in Asbury Park.

This is my updated review. My child has completed her 1st year there and I am pleased that she has exceeded the expectations! The dedication to the students is shown throughout the staff. The principal and teachers are accessible and they are very open to listening to suggestions and positive ideas. I support their efforts 100%.

I have a son who attends this school and he does very well for himself, high honor roll student, very respectable and mannerable and I have nothing but high hopes and asperations for my son. At times he can slip up but he is a child and it is up to me as a parent to make sure he falls back in place. Overall he is an excellent student and the teachers he has had in the past and including his current teacher were great! I do at times think that maybe he is not getting the greatest education or maybe not being tested and schooled to his fullest potential just because of what I hear about our schools in our district or the constant stories printed about test scores but my son excels regarless, so what does that say, maybe its the parents involvement?

My child went to this [school.] Thank God not any more. My child got jumped in the office and none of the adults saw anything and they were sitting right there. So what's that tell you.

I am a parent of a child that goes to this school. My son is a special needs child. I don't believe that the school is run very well at all. Teachers can not handle these children & parents need to take more involvment in the school.
