The school has a new dynamic principal, who really shows he not only cares about the students, but has high expectations for all of them. He has brought a variety of extra programs and services to the school including a Family Success Center, the City Recreation Program and law enforcement youth programs. Academic are improving and students are learning life skills that are necessary to be successful citizens. The Family Center aids parents with educational and economic situation and provides cultural activities that enhance the academic programming. It is definitly one of the best schools in the district.
