Mother Teresa Regional School is excellent!! I was afraid my daughter would get lost in the large public middle school, so we decided to enroll her in MTRS and it was the best decision we ever made! The curriculum is rigorous and challenging and the teachers are caring and devoted. The principal is a dedicated, wonderful woman who knows all the students by name. Also, there is ample financial aid available. My only regret is that I didn't know about the aid sooner. I always thought we couldn't afford it. If you like a small community school where everyone knows you're name, and your child isn't just a number, MTRS is your school!

Mother Teresa Regional School's graduating students are accepted in highly rated high schools such as CBA, High Technology, MAST, St. John Vianney and Mater Dei as well as the public schools. They have received from Mother Teresa Regional School a sound, strong education that enables them to be confident and successful in high school and beyond.

We LOVE this school! My children are gettig a great education from caring and involved teachers. Homework, projects and reports are plentiful. My children are learning not only academics but respect and caring for others as well. The children of this school look out for one another and the support of the community is fantastic. Great sports programs where the children don't just learn the fundamentals of the game but learn sportmanship whether winning or losing. Loads of afterschool clubs as well as an after school program. MTRS is a hidden jewel of the Bayshore. If you want something more for you child (ren) you need to check it out. You won't be disappointed.

My kids are finishing their second year at MTRS and we could not be happier in a choice for a school. It is not huge so the kids all know each other as do the teachers. It is not just a school, it is a community. The kids get taught Christian values, by caring teachers and a Principal that is constantly striving to improve this great school. There are great after school programs and many sports programs, including track and floor hockey. I would highly recommend this wonderful learning institution.

I hate that I agree with the bad reviews but I do. There are some very nice teachers and very nice parents and this could be such a great school, but bullying IS allowed, even as they have a written policy against it. My child has been bullied all year. I discussed with their teacher who said, oh that kid bullies everyone. Huh? I guess they would rather keep the bully's tuition than mine. In addition, you get nickel and dimed to death -I wish they had the kids focus on more actual charity work, than just collecting money.

I strongly DISAGREE with every single review written here. I switched my daughter out of public school and started her here in 5th grade and got a warm welcome from everyone. she has blossomed and done beautifully at Mother Teresa. EVERYONE in the school has been kind and welcoming to both me and her. I have not only grown up in the area, but also went to Catholic schools myself and can tell you that Mother Teresa is a breath of fresh air!

I will be straight to the point-don't waste your money. Disappointment of a Catholic school.
