Profile Completeness

BASIC

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

I attended many different schools as a child. This school was the absolute worst. Teachers had poor attitude and teaching skills. Teachers spoke inappropriately in front of students and to students. I would never send my child to this school. As an adult I know Bellmawr taxes are very high and there are towns nearby in Camden County with much better schools.

Confirmed the EM Burke school in Bellmawr is very bad. The superintendent is ignorant; the principal is stupid and denial of facts. The school's academic is very low and bad. Too many poor students who have no good tutor, that is the consequences. Non-English speakers are no problem! That is a wrong blame; it is a poor neighborhood.

I am sorry to say that EM Burke school needs a complete overhaul from the Superintendent down. They should be totally ashamed with continual ratings of a "4" out of 10. Camden City is a 3. There excuse is that there is never enough money. Our taxes are very high and we have nothing to show for it. If the superintendent, principal and teachers cared they would improve their schools instead of taking their paychecks and run. There is no dedication here, certainly no caring and of course no education. Bellmawr has a high concentration of non-English speaking people so they mainstreamed them into the regular classrooms. This causes most of the teachers attention to those that do not understand English and short changes those that want to learn. They should instead put all of the non-English speaking students together and bring up their language skills so they can be effectively mainstreamed. Instead you have a student body that does not meet state minimum standards even though the administration and teachers get a handsome paycheck for little work. How disappointing it has become. This is just a job to the teachers and not a dedicated profession. Stay away!!!!!
