Fights numerous times a year, no cameras, they are on the third Principal in 3 years! Academically deficient. NO computer courses. Teachers were good, but so many cuts, no parent involvement with academics; just sports. Many good young teachers were let go.

I graduated two years ago and little old belvidere high was awesome. You know everyone there, which was great. The other three bad reviews is a bunch of bull. There are no bomb threats everyday like pburg and there area is real safe. If sports are more important to a student than their academics then go to the less safe pburg or easton.

The academics at BHS are just as good as most schools in the area. I graduated in 2001 and had the best 4 years there. They are not the greatest at sports, but it is a safe school and as a teacher I would be very comfortable sending my child there.

Poor academics, poor foreign language options, limited school sports.

Quality of academic programs is poor. If your child is involved and excellent in sports this is not the school for them.
