The school is definitely above the average school in the country. This comes not only from the people that work there but also from the community. The kids are well behaved, bad behaviors are consistently discouraged, teachers and students use modern technology, the classrooms are well supplied, the love for reading is promoted, parents are always welcome to volunteer, teachers greet every student in the morning and welcome them in the building. Every parent has different expectations from the educational institution and one can always find negatives. This school, although not perfect, has many more good points than bad.

MKM is an absolutely wonderful place for our youngest children to learn and grow in a safe, nurturing, rich environment. Teachers who care and are trained in early childhood education make a huge impact on the kids. My 3rd child just finished going thru the school and I can honestly say the experience just gets better and better. She left ready and eager to learn and prepared to succeed.

Disappointing. The kids are defintiely placed at the bottom of the priorities at this school, now known as Mary Kay McMillin. This school makes no bones about their doing the least that they are legally required to do for the kids. The administrations's view is that the school meets the minimum state standards. I believe that is called damning themselves with faint praise.
