Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a small school where big things happen. I have been absolutely satisfied with the education of my children at OLMC in Boonton. They are not only advancing academically but learning how to be good and responsible people. I love the small classroom sizes of grades 1 through 8, it guarantees that my children a priceless amount of attention during their studies. You would be surprised at the qualifications of many of the teachers at OLMC. A small school with a dedicated staff, many extra curricular opportunities, and a truly loving learning environment.

We love, love, love, this school. We are a military family and it is important for our kids to not only attend a school that has a challenging academic program; but to attend one where the kids are welcomed and not treated as outsiders. OLMC has excellent teachers who truly care about their students' success, many opportunities for parents to volunteer, small class size, extra-curricular activities (drama, gymnastics, yearbook, bowling, student council, aftercare program, etc.), and a strong religious education. OLMC is like a family and we LOVE it.

From the moment our children entered OLMC School, we knew that we found the right place for them. They have grown spiritually in their Catholic faith, emotionally, academically, and socially far beyond our expectations. The OLMC staff and families make our school a wonderful and safe learning environment. Our children treasure OLMC school as a very happy place and we cherish the time that we can be involved as volunteers there. We love having such open lines of communication and mutual understanding with the staff. We are very fortunate to have such an excellent school nearby serving students from preschool through eighth grade with children from many faiths and towns. Our children have made such wonderful friends at OLMC and they will be able to grow through their years at OLMC School.

My children have been attending OLMC school for the last 11 years. Our faculty is extremely dedicated to the academic and spiritual development of our students. Music, art and Spanish are offered as our Humanities courses, with instrumental band offered as an optional class. We have many extra-curricular offerings, including Student Council, Yearbook, Peer Mediation, Bowling and gymnastics. Parents are welcomed to volunteer in many areas. My children have truly thrived and benefited from their experiences at OLMC. There is almost a family atmosphere at the school, that cannot be matched anywhere else.

Our family loves OLMC School because it is a wonderful learning environment centered on the family and community through teamwork and caring. By combining lessons in moral values with education and involving the entire family, our children learn to be good citizens, as well as loving members of an extended Christian family. Our children have teachers who keep them intrigued, so they re eager to learn and enthusiastically return to school each day. Most importantly, our children both very young already have a knowledge of God (not an easy concept to teach to youngsters) since His Word is integrated throughout the school day. As members of the parish and school, our children are receiving the most well-rounded, comprehensive education possible. A Catholic education in 2007 offers much more than before, including music, art, drama, sports, and special interest groups like chess. We love OLMC!
