I am happy with my sons school. My son had great teachers throughout his school years. The humanities teachers are wonderful. The principal and the assisstant Principal were always welcoming. My child enjoys friendliness and good role model from his school environment which I always look for. I strongly agree that education starts at home.
I am very happy with this school. My child, who is in 6th grade, has continued to flourish academically in this school and Bordentown Regional school system. I have always been more than satisfied with her teachers and principals. To the poster below, I disagree with you 110%. Bordentown Regional teachers are not just present for "their" (not there) paychecks. They are in fact one of the LOWEST paid groups of teachers in all of Burlington County, so they cold easily go elsewhere if they were so concerned about cash.
My child has had a WONDERFUL experience at BRMS. The teachers are hands-on and great at communicating with us. I have not noticed a lack of homework, but there is also not so much that my daughter cannot participate in extra-curricular activities. I am disappointed to read these other reviews. The the poster below me, it should read: 'just THEIR checks.' Education starts at home! :)
This school has some undesirable teachers. They dont care for the children just there checks.
Unfortunately, this school does not set high expectations for the students. My daughter has approximately 10 minutes of homework a night and only in one class. The rest of the classes do not give homework. Many of the brightest students leave for private schools as they are bored.
This is my daughters first year at BRMS. She truly like the school, although I think that the teachers need to be a little more hands on w/ the children and take time to thoroughly explain the school work to the children. I truly appreciate the diverse background of the students.
