The school is amazing, do not listen to any of the past, 2011 and on is the best, there is a new principal she is over the top nice she always smiles and everything! The teachers are so helpful, sports are amazing, so many activities!! just great!!!
LRMS was the best school I have ever gone to i have recently moved to florida 5 months ago going on 6 the schools here are not very good to many fights here. At LRMS there was hardly any fights at all the teachers there are great i went to LRMS for 6th grade and half of 7th my opinion is tht LRMS is the best school i have been to teachers there really care about the students (Mrs Turnboch,Mrs Hoban, Mr Kidney, Mrs Paige, Mrs Altobello, Mrs Cerbone and last but not least Mr Flanigan) :]
I'm currently in 8th grade and let me tell you that I have pretty good teachers. The principal, not so much and I'm not saying that just because she is overly strict but because she doesn't even say hello when I say it to her. The school building it's self it kinda old saying that it's about 50 years old and only additions and no renewals have been done to the rest of the building but I guess that's the townships fault. So this school is only ok.
I am currently a student at LRMS. In my opinion, it is a pretty good school but some of the teachers in it could be watched a little better. I have one teacher who is quite mean and no matter how much I complain about her, nothing seems to be done. But besdies that, it is a good school.
I was very happy with the middle school, especially 6th grade and 7th grade-the teachers were over the top, caring, kind and great with the kids, they teach because they want to make a difference-however, eighth grade-totally different story-they're in that building to get a paycheck! They made demeaning comments about the kids, almost on a daily basis, the kids were always put down, even the good ones! Certain teachers in 8th grade don't care about their students, and they make every effort to share that with them on a daily basis. Never do they go one extra mile for anyone who needs extra help instead they pile on more work, how can students learn if they can't get the lesson the first and only time a lesson gets taught! My daughter didn't learn anything!
I love the teachers, they are so caring and they are great with the kids. I love the office staff and tthe rest of the support staff and the assistant principals are wonderful, at least to my child. The only negative for me is the principal, not the warmest person...
Last year I was very happy with this school, and the staff, they were very helpful with my son's learning difficulties. This year it is like pulling teeth to get a return phone call, or weekly progress report. I left a message for the guidance councelor back in the beginning of April, it is now May 13th, and I still have n ot received a phone call. I did finally talk to the teachers, but it is in my opinion very rude to ignore a parents concerns. I hope next year is a better one.
I am very unhappy with the principal of this school. When you embrace parents they will embrace you.
The school has been a positive experience for my child. The teachers that my child has had so far have been extremly supportive, cooperative and very informative. There are many activities for the children compared to elementary. On the negative side of things it is my opinion that the office staff could be more friendly and helpful afterall we are the tax payers that pay thier salary, I am not pleased at all with the head principle. It is my opinion that the principle of the school should work hard with the parents and have each individual students best interest at heart thats whats most important instead it is my opinion that the principle is content with being in charge and being the boss and takes pride in being the one in charge and being boss. I like the school but am not pleased with the principle from my experience.
The teachers at this school are less than helpful when it comes to issues with the students learning. I spoke to the principal and was assured I would get weekly progress reports, so far 6 weeks later, I have received 1. Very little support from staff and teachers. Lots of blame and no solutions. Very unhappy with this school
