Clara Barton Elementary School

I have to say, I totally disagree with the review of this school dated 2/10/12. I have had children in Clara Barton for six years now and have found the teaching staff to be wonderful and very open to parent involvement. The principal is also very open to parent involvement and very welcoming whenever I'm in the school, which is usually several times a week. I feel it has a community feel today just as it did 6 years ago when we decided to move here for the school. My children have thrived academically at this school. Some people just need to complain about things. Especially when they're no longer a part of it.

I was so glad when we no longer went to this school. I found the teaching staff to be wonderful on the whole, but unfortunately there are some that should not be in the classroom. Children deserve the best, especially when we pay so much in taxes. I find as a whole the school atmosphere very stressed and unfriendly to parent involvement. The principal is very condescending to parents and would rather they stay out of the building. This school does not have a community feel like it did many years ago and I attribute that to the principal. Last day of school was a relief for us.

This is really good school, i was looking for !! am happy that we moved here considering this school,where i am sending my daughter,academically it's really gr8, teachers are doing their best to bring each students ahead.

I am so pleased with this school. They have so many wonderful programs to offer to our children. The principal is so very much involved. The parents are also very much involved as well. My child has learned so much in this school year. I am amazed with the progress he made from September till June. I can't say enough about this wonderful school.
