This year's graduating class has acceptances to top private high schools in the Philadelphia area. They also had scholarship recipients to some great schools. The kids treat each other well, and in my observation there isn't much drama from year to year.

Buyer Beware!!! The academics at Westfield was great but teachers and administration were inept to handle bullying. They do not have a policy in place to address it and I had to pull my child out early. I got a prorated tuition refunded.

Our children were at Westfield Frinds School for 8 years before we moved out of state. At WFS your children will recieve a very strong classical education and will be taught respect, responsibility, and fairness. Students leave WFS confident and well equipped for any school they will attend in the future. It's truly a very special place. Our children remember it with great fondness and wish they could have spent more time there. Leaving the school was one of the most difficult things I've had to do in my life.

The best decision we ever made was to send our three children to WFS. All three have graduated and went on to Moorestown Friends School fully prepared for high school. WFS provides more than a great academic experience; it is a place that encourages children to grow into young adults who are stewards of our community. If I were given the choice to redo my children's elementary school years, I would choose WFS again. My children have all become productive members of society because we gave them the gift of Westfield Friends School.

WFS has built a solid reputation over the past 225 years based on word of mouth. Hence, insiders refer to the school as "the best kept secret" in Burlington County. Generations of families, relatives and those in the know have experienced a quality education and a close knit family atmosphere that you can't find elsewhere. This is a place where children are challenged academically, nurtured, and provided with a strong foundation for future growth. Parents have easy access to the teachers and the headmaster. There are a number of opportunities for parents to get involved in events and activities. The school is small, so special services and extracurricular activities, like sports, are lacking. However, this is offset by the unique traditions, special activities and teachers who go the extra mile. We have two children in the school. Our family loves it. We feel blessed to be a part of this unique learning community.

We are firm believers in Westfield Friends - an extraordinary school - not only is my daughter, now 4th grade, receiving an exceptional education, but we, as parents, are very pleased with the overall community of the school as well as the spiritual values instilled within the students. A wonderful place.

WFS has excellent teachers who really care about their students. I have two children in WFS and both love going to school every single day. They are challenged by the academics, while learning the importance of giving back to the community. We have no complaints and look forward to the rest of our years at WFS.

My son is in first grade at Westfield Friends School. His mind is growing quickly by their rigorous academic standards. The progress he makes in reading and math skills is amazing to witness. When it comes to science, social studies, music, and art, he is expanding his knlowledge and world view. His enthusiasm about what he's learning is contagious and to see him cross-reference information and think critically is astounding. His growth is 100% due to the incredibly knowledgable, dedicated, talented, enthusiastic educators at Westfield. Not only are they teaching my son academics, but he is learning from their wonderful example what it means to have integrity, compassion, generosity, responsibility, and accountability. They are making him a productive citizen of the world who will have an open mind and heart. I couldn't be happier with this school and the nurturing, kind, warm environment. There is a reason that Westfield Friends is celebrating its 225 anniversary this year: excellence!

My daughter goes there and has since kindergarten. It is a small school that embodies Quaker values of education and life, great academics and a great environment for a great price.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
