We have had 3 children attend Cinnaminson High School. We have been very pleased, especially with the offering of honors and Advanced Placement courses. Both of my boys were able to earn significant college credits by high placement on the AP tests. Also, we are very happy with the marching band, strings & mock trial programs.
Cinnaminson has the best marching band director, who not only devotes all of her time to the kids, she's also a very talented musician and well loved teacher by students and parents alike
the cinnaminson school distruct strives for excellence in all disciplines of education
My children both attend Cinnaminson HS. As parents we feel so thankful to live in a place where we can send our children to public schools and still get a great educational experience. The course offerrings are great, the teachers are exceptional and the athletic programs are second to none. When we first moved here we had to rely on 'ratings' of websites and references from friends and without question all of our expectations have been met. We did consider some less desirable areas, however the cost of private schools wasn't worth it.
I graduated along with my husband from Cinnaminson High School. We are disappointed now that our children are in high school that so many of the academic classes are gone. They need to bring wood shop, mechanics, and more foreign language choices back. These are only some of the classes that helped so many graduates exceed in life. CHS also needs to add a better selection of courses. If you look at other districts academic programs, they are more updated than CHS. CHS made my husband & I very successful people. I just hope they do something to better their course selections, stop cutting out important classes, and claiming that there is no money to keep them going? We pay high taxes and the children of Cinnaminson deserve more than being offered.
My son has grown academically and socially at this school. He feels a sense of community and is involved in several organizations, which is new for him. He has gone from being unmotivated in middle school to being a high achiever in high school. Several teachers, the CST and school social worker have all played a strong part in this transformation. He has had an opportunity to take honors and AP courses and be involved in the music program. The school offers many options for a variety of students for the size of the district. They have not been very good at accommodating his first choices for electives, but they make sure he gets what he needs for academic success.
I went to Cinnaminson. The small class sizes and quality of education was excellent. A very decent education. I am now an attorney, and have three degrees.
