Eight of the graduating 8th-graders --that is 30% of the class-- have been name Aquinas Scholars. This is the highest academic achievement scholarship! Congratulations, Class of 2012!
My kids are very happy in this school. No complaints whatsoever and the education is great.
I came to the school for its excellent math program. If you care for math, science, discipline and good values, this is the place for you. Parents group is also great. They work very hard.
Yes, the comments from the parents are true. I graduated from St. Clare's 3 years ago. Two of my siblings still go there. While I was at St. Clare's I didn't appreciate things but now I do. I have been high honors through high school and gotten academic scholarships. I still miss my teachers!!!
I like this school because it is small and you get to know everyone. To me it counts to know who my children is sitting next to for 7 hours a day. The Home and School group is very active. Teachers are very caring and have many years of experience. Children are well spoken and well behaved. My oldest is ready to graduate and when I visited two high schools, the principals spoke highly of all the students in their schools who came from St. Clare's.
I also agree with the positive reviews. If you are looking for a place with excellent moral values and academics, this is it. Yes, there could be more extra curricular activities, but no place is perfect. Anyway, my view is that schools should be to assist parents with the moral and spiritual foundation of their children. St. Clare's does a very good job at that. The second thing school should do is provide a strong academic foundation. St. Clare's children score out of the charts in the Terranova and COOP tests and get accepted into the honors programs at the best high schools. In my humble opinion, St. Clare's is accomplishing what I think it should. I have a third grader and a sixth grader. Thanks for listening.
I have actually truly enjoyed reading the comments on this site. The passion in them is a reflection of the parents at the school. Sometimes, that passion is ill directed, but passion is passion. The PTA is fantastic. Parents are so involved that it is amazing. And yes, great curriculum and standards too.
Fantastic school! Great discipline and very respectful environment. Kids behave well. A great atmosphere= great learning!
I have been at Saint Clare School for over 11 years now. While there have been many changes, the faculty has remained solid as the foundation of the school. The teachers pour their love and knowledge to help our children. They do this out of their dedication. All of them are highly qualified and have many years of experience. Some schools may have better installations, but when it comes to old-fashioned academics, discipline and learning, you can't find many schools like Saint Clare's. Parents are also an asset. Many are very opinionated, but I take that as part of the fact that Saint Clare parents are truly invested in their children's education. A lovely place. Not perfect, but great.
St. Clare's is a wonderful place. I came here because two of my Roche co-workers sent their children to SC and loved it. All their children went on to top colleges. I am glad I followed their suggestion. My children are doing very well.
