I love this school. My daughter attends currently. I find the combination of excellent academics, smaller class sizes, values and community to be excellent. The tuition is reasonable for a private education. After researching options and speaking to parents, we went to several area schools to get a feel for our top choices. Attending the open house we spoke to every teacher from every grade, and found them all without exception engaged, thoughtful and enthusiastic about the school and their job. As a teacher I know the value of committed faculty, which goes far beyond a paycheck, and the impact it has on the individual child in the classroom. Since my child is a little on the shy side -- I wanted a place that would draw her out and not leave her behind. They have done that and it is good to see her blossom.

I was very happy to have my 2 children attend this school. The Principle is smart/ caring and has very strong leadership skills that bought the school to an academy level. Very impressive. The teachers do a great job as well. My kids like school, How many parents can say this. i love having my children in this Catholic School. Come and check out our school. You will come away impressed

I know this school well. I have given it top ratings in the past. It no longer lives up to its reputation. The serious and precipitous decline is largely due to poor leadership. There are 2 kinds of families -ones who are there because they believe in it, and families who want the school to fix their children's problems. Unfortuantely, St. Therese caters to the problems at the expense of others. My older child received a wonderful education here and was accepted to a very comeptetive high school. However, it is my experience that the academics have really slipped -- teachers test and assign homework to compenste for lack of teaching. Because so much energy of he teachers is diverted to dealing with problem kids' behavior, the learning suffers. Far better options exist than this school - which looks great from the outside but is rotten to the core.

great school. School leadership is outstanding. Principle cares deeply for school and it is evident in how the teachers/ students/ children relate.. Each child is made to feel special and important. The standards are high, but reachable. My son looks forward to going to school, which is a change from his prev experience.

My daughter is about to graduate K. She loves this school and so do I. She can read, do basic math, write sentences and now being at the end of the year is working on 1st G tasks. The academics have been wonderful. I would like to see more art, music than the current once a week and a few more field trips (they had 3). Parent involvement is great, although it seems to be many of the same parents/families. Being a new school parent, there is room for improvement on communication to new families (but if you reach out its there), administration needs improvement on addressing issues and communicating back to parents. Moving forward, I would like to see some additional teacher evaluations. I would hightly recommend St. Therese for not only faith based education, but those wanting a higher standard for their children's education.

My daughter received a wonderful education at St. Therese, and was well prepared to be accepted to a competitive high school. The junior high teachers, in particular, are exceptional and prepare the students very well for high school. Strict but loving environment, very supportive, and involving the family. Wonderful experience, and a full education spiritually as well as academic.

This is my child's first year in this school. She finished kindergarten. The academic program is excellent and music/art are well incorporated in the curriculum. My child has learned tremendously this year because of a very teachers who were more than willing to listen and to give us direction for the educational and personal success of our child. Parents are expected to be involved in their child's education; all of these in a very nurturing and caring environment that also involves the community and church.
