AWESOME SCHOOL!! My daughter just finished Kindergarten and my son will start in September. The teachers are wonderful - both the Kindergarten teachers and all of the 'extra' teachers. Communication via the website and e-mail helps keep parents informed. The small class size and the dedication of the teachers made this a wonderful year! The teachers take the time to get to know the students and their families and there is a lot of positive feedback for the kids that encourages them to keep learning. The computerized reading program is FABULOUS and is something most people would not expect in a small-town school. Also, parental involvement is high and the atmosphere among staff, students and parents is very positive. I LOVE IT!!
When I was little I went to pearson school and so did my kids and hopefully there kids I like what the teachers do to help the kids learn and at such a young age their telling them what to expect in later years and that is one of the best qualities this school has but if your from here then you must know what boost is I think that boost should be served during lunch I mean me and sometimes my kids would have one almost everyday 7 days a week I could drink a gallon of it so I think that they don't really need to improve on anything just have boost served during lunch and maybe have some of the older teachers retire all in all I just love this school.
Our five year old had a wonderful experience in Kindergarten at the Pearson School. Both Kindergarten teachers are clearly focused on the students and what they need to learn. I had the opportunity to sit in for a morning. Every minute was educational and fun-filled for the children.
For a town where the school budget is defeated time and time again I think the administrators, staff and teachers do an excellent job of making the most of what they get. It is a small town and the children get very personalized attention and everyone knows who everyone is. Keep up the great work!
The Peason school teachers and principal are very open to parent concerns and student needs. They are very involved in the goings on in the community, as well. The staff and faculty also take the development of the children's cognitive abilities as seriously as they do their social and emotional development
