Sadly, this school is not what it used to be. The facilities, teachers, students, programs and religious identity are sliding big time. They do nothing to try to keep the tuition in check, plus you pay extra for the mandatory computer and extracurricular programs. There is practically no support from the Diocese or local parishes and most of the influx of students from the remaining Catholic schools has dried up. They dropped the ball when they could have made the school a regional K-12 or Middle School-12 when the Diocese was closing down area schools. If they don't get some leadership and financial stability, they may be next to get chopped.

My son is a recent graduate of Holy Cross. He received an excellent education there. He was able to get involved in many clubs and activities. Best of all, he had many wonderful teachers who went out of their way to help him and showed they cared about his education. He enjoyed school, was challenged in Honors and AP classes, and would pick Holy Cross over our local public school again if he had the choice. Upon graduation, my son received excellent scholarships and was accepted to many of his top choice schools. He received several 5's on his AP tests and scored very high on his SAT's. He is now attending an excellent university thanks to his hard work and the education he received at Holy Cross.

As a former student of Holy Cross, I can tell you how wonderful this school is. When I was going into high school, I had a choice between Holy Cross and a local public school. At the time I was in the local public school and failing miserably. I went into Holy Cross and for the first time in my life I achieved Honor Roll. Now maybe Holy Cross isn't for everyone, but if you are looking for a school with Teachers who care, and will take the extra time with their students. Then Holy Cross should be the first place you look. To me is says a lot about a school, when so many graduates decide to come back to teach and coach. When you attend Holy Cross you become part of a family and it is life long. Thank you to my parents and family who helped to pay to put me through this school. Without my time spent here, I know I wouldn't be where I am today. (And I hope that this school is around for my children)

Don't waste your money! Holy Cross is mediocre at best. The return on your investment does not justify the cost of about $10,000 a year. Ask how many students received higher that a 1 or even 2 on the AP Chemistry exam over the prior 4 years? I have been told it was none. That' right I was told it was none! There are some good teachers and some that are not so good. The facilities need updating both grounds and infrastructure and they have no air conditioning. I can honestly say my expectations were not met as a parent and I would most likely not have sent my child there if I had known. The school maintains a good discipline environment but it is sometimes petty and applied differently depending on whom you are and who you know. If they do not implement some significant changes I don t see how they can survive!!

You gotta be joking a 5 star rating. you can bet its the staff doing the voting. This school is a joke..The principals are liars and the sport programs are run with kids. This school is way over priced. you can get a much better deal at another school..

I have two children who chose Holy Cross over a local public school and are extremely happy with there decision. The teachers are so supportive with helping them reach their goals for college and there is plenty of "school spirit" to keep their energy level high at a crucial period in their lives. Small class size, sports, and community service are all a part of this wonderful school. Scholarships are in abundance for the students at graduation time.

Excellent school I have one child in college who graduated HCHS and another who is a senior. HCHS has been a wonderful experience for my kids. The teachers go above and beyond everyday. There is alot of tradition and pride. The kids at HCHS are happy and respectful.

Outstanding academics and extra cirricular programs! My three children have all had wonderful high school experiences and made great lifelong friends. All three were accepted at the college of their choice. Faculty is caring and competent. All teachers go out of thie way to help students either academically or with personal problems. The parent 'clubs' for sports & the arts are a great group of people with their children's best interests at heart. I live 2 blocks from the local public high school yet my children chose to go to Cross for the athletics and academics.

I've had three kids go through Holy Cross and my family and I absolutely love the school! They have had a much better high school then I did. HCHS is such a well-rounded school; great academics and extracurricular activities. My kids loved all their teachers and I found them dedicated, eager to teach and understanding. All the kids at the Cross are great too!
