I wonder if any of those negative coments paid there tution, I'm guessing NOT. I work in the public school system theres mortgage, payroll, electric, gas, suppliies, etc;. were do u think the money is coming TUITION and if everyone doesn't pay or is late DUH!!,
Please disregard the past negative comments. the two were highly exaggerated. the health dept has been to the school and they have pss inspection. Any structural problems in the past have been fixed. This school has added new programs and activities. Parents have volunteered to help with these programs. The administration and highly qualified teachers care about their students and treat them as their own. We feel like family here. parents look out for all of the kids here. I am very please with the school. I have 65 kids including my two children that attends. Please check out the school's website at www.jamaseducation.con
i love jamas Everything thing is good there
There is a lack of professionalism for the director/principal which filters to the teachers and adversely affects the students. There is apparent financial mismanagement. The tuition is high while the eductaion is inferior. Many of the teachers require staff development. Parent involvement is apparently frowned upon as there are no or few parent meetings held to address issues. There is constant fundraising but funds do not appear to benefit the students. The director advocates for commerating absurd holidays that do not coincide with the national holidays. They also advocate for prematurely closing the school at 10am in anticipation of an evening snowfall. It appears that any excuse is used to close the school and not pay the teachers for a day of work. There is a rodent and bug infestation. It is not a hygenically sound environment. It is apparent that monetary gain is the order of the day there.
My child attends Jamas Childrens University and as a parent i am truly disappointd. The conditions of the ceiling upstairs and downstairs is terrible, the school needs many repairs and nothing is done. the state needs to intercede due to mice constantly being found on the floors in the building, wires hanging from places, the same person in charge of the garbage is the lunchlady! All classes pay for all trips themselves and must rent the buses they must travel in (About $500-$600)The school DOES NOT HELP IN ANYWAY. Classes must constantly beg for money. For ALL events in the school parents must provide ALL cookies, cakes, pastries and juices Where is all the tuition money going? Teachers were forced to stay off one day a week because of funds.
