I can't say enough about Ben Franklin school!!!!! My son has shown tremendous improvement . The teachers care so much about the children and their education. They put every ounce of effort into making sure the children understand and comprehend the learning process. The principal is very involved, he makes the school feel like a second home for our families. Parents are very active at Ben franklin and that's very important as well for the children, it makes for unforgettable memories for the children. Ben Franklin is my family.

Benjamin franklin school is great because of its leadership. It all stems from the top down and the principal of the school truly cares about the children and has their best interest in mind always. When you have a captain of a ship steering it in the right direction, it can only lead to success!

My wife and I currently have two children attending BFE and one who recently graduated. We have been heavily involved in the PTA for the past 6 years and are have created many great relationships with the parents and the faculty members. The staff are caring, well educated individuals who give their hearts and souls into educating the BFE children. The children are very respectful of the staff and their peers. Our children are receiving an excellent education at BFE and my recent grad was aptly prepared for entering middle school. I attribute this to our involvment in our children's education but especially to the dedicated staff and administration. I highly recommend Ben Franklin Elementary School.

Some teachers are good but some are very discriminatory and rude to children. This was shocking how rudely they can treat little first graders to the point that they are becoming psychologically demotivated about school and growing a negative impression on the school itself. Most of these bad cop teachers are, by the way, the middle-aged to older ones. They have very little humanity.

My son is in grade 1, I am very satisfied with the academic programs, extracurricular activities they have. The teachers are good and caring. Parent teacher meetings also keep me very much in pace with my sons acheivements and backups, plus the input on the teachers bahalf and her understanding really helps out the whole situation.

My three children attend Ben Franklin and we love it. The PTA is extremely active, providing unique opportunities for the children like assemblies, guest speakers, and their favorite, field day. The principal and staff has a great rapport with the students and parents. There are many clubs, band, chorus, gifted and talented and service opportunities for the students. The school has a positive learning environment and I will be sad to see my oldest move on to middle school this year.

An awsome place of learning and fun for young children. All this school needs is some after school sports to play out of Gym class. The school also needs a cafeteria and a larger gymnasium. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! :-)

Profile Completeness

INTERMEDIATE

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.
