There are some good Japanese schools in the area, but overall I agree with the poster below. Moreover, since my son also goes to a local school, the comparison is telling -- the teachers are much more supportive and have a much better relationship with the kids (even in the one day they get them as opposed to the five days the regular school gets them). There are regular activities and trips (optional skiing 3 times last year at a fair price). I have never met a teacher here who I thought was less than 100% dedicated and focused on giving the children the best education possible.
My kid and I have participated this school's work shop. It is amazing. If you have Japanses spekaing kids in the USA, this is the school I recommend.
