Although I am not a big fan of Dwight Morrow, I would have to give the Academies @ Englewood all five stars. It is an excellent school, which is even more ethically diverse than dwight morrow. The teachers are very helpful and creative. The only complaint is that my son does come home with a lot of homework, but I think it is a good challenge for him.

I think that Dwight Morrow is a Great School it is a Melting Pot all kinds of students from all diffrent types of life styles. There are some very decated Teachers there who really care about our kids and will go to any leanth to get them to enjoy the learning process. And yea there are some teaches that are there just for the pay check.. Every child is not the same nor do all kids learn in the same manner... It's what you put into it that makes it work... You know this is the only High School that Englewood residents have to send there kids (With out having to pay for it)This is our School! we have the choice to Make this school what ever we want it to be and I choose Great.

I think that the school is an overall pretty bad school. People don't learn much in the school and the teachers are not that great.

I graduated the school in 1997. I thought it was a great experience which has helped prepare me for a fulfilling, productive life thus far. The school has a bad rap, but when it comes down to it, if a kid wants to learn, he/she will learn. The cultural diversity at DMHS is something that just can not be found at any high school in the surrounding area, no matter what their academic record is.

I feel this school has been through a lot over the years. Each year the school has grown and improved. The students are great. When they know a person cares about them they work with them. I do feel the media and others don't give them a fear chance to show the world what they have to offer. I also feel the state needs to invest in education as a whole across the state. We all need to give more to DMHS. Lets show the kids we love them and believe in them by giving more of our selves.

a good school for the towns people. good programs for the students. kids like to be there. past history of being a bad school but records show the school is becoming better academically.

As I am rating this school I am not rating Dwight Morrow High School per se. I am rating the Academies@Englewood a pilot High School based at the Dwight Morrow High School campus. All I can say is that in a perfect world, all High Schools would be like the Academies@Englewood. The level of parent/teacher cooperation and involvement, the richness and diversity of all available academic programs, electives to choose from, music, art and sports extracurricular activities are more than enough to round up any individual, plenty to challenge the brightest minds, perfect to occupy our young adults time and stir them away from trouble. One more thing....the kind of friendship and the approach to do most things as a team creates one magnificent scenario for our kids to enter the real world upon graduation. They are all so proud of their schools and their classmates/friends! A dedicated staff does the rest.
