Upon researching numerous schools through New Jersey we chose Far Hills Country Day School for its balance between academics and character development. We feel the vision and values of Far Hills are in line with what we believe to be a truly well rounded education. We love seeing our children come home happy and excited. We love that our children's academic and emotional needs are individually met. Every teacher we have met has shown an exceptional sense of love for FH. They all take a lot of pride in how they contribute to making FH a great school. There is a feeling of belonging and unity at each of the many events. There is no concern of what grade your child is in, we are all in this together, striving to better our children. There is a joint effort with FHCDS and their families to continually improve upon the school. Staff, students, and families have a genuine love for the school.

Far Hills Country Day empowers students with the morality, academic excellence, and resilience not only in the classroom but through adventure trips, international study aboard opportunities, and community service intiatives!

I was a student there and it was awful more than a few teachers were not engaged and didn't know how to teach. When you walk through the halls on a tour its all a show they give us warnings before visitors come and tell us to come up to you; its an act no one is that nice when visitors aren't around. Everything at FHCDS is about money and how they can get more. I was a student and saw it first hand. if you are considering a place to go don't get sucked in by the fake show that FHCDS puts on when you go on a tour! It is all fake. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! The board is hand picked and gets nothing done. It has the right idea and can talk the talk but trust me, it cant walk the walk.

The school has five pillars that the students live by; respect, responsibility, honesty, leadership and kindness. Students know this from the primary school all the way through middle school. A Far Hills student is the schools best advertisement, walk through the halls and you will see for yourself. It's an amazing journey.

Far Hills has always developed the individual child and creates an environment that promotes the joy of learning. My children love being here and the teachers are outstanding! This is an amazing environment where children flourish.

I haven't encountered a teacher at Far Hills that wasn't passionate about making sure they were getting the best out of our child.

Far Hills Country Day School is exceptional - the best of the best. We also make sacrifices to send our child to the best possible school, because we value education. Our child has flourished year after year, and when we hit bumps in the road (which is normal), the school was ALWAYS on top of the issues. The teachers and administration are compassionate, truly dedicated to teaching and fully engaged on all levels. K-8th grade are hugely formative years, and I will be forever thankful to this school. We are very proud of the fine young person (in heart, mind and soul) that our child has become.
