My child goes through relentless teasing from other children. Nothing is done with the children who tease. She loves to learn but hates going to school everyday because of the children in this district. I have never seen such horrible treatment towards others. The children in this district have no compassion and the teachers look the other way.

Preteens entering into Middle School are expected to perform independantly, the transition to middle school is made more difficult, because the Teachers and Principal give Students to much responsibility that they are not prepared to assume coming from Elementary school, ie. multiple class periods with varying instructors such as in a High School or College settings. Despite Parents best efforts the 6th Grade Team (Teachers)do a poor job of easing this transition by working in concert with Parents. Quite the opposite, Parents are placed into a perverbial black hole when it comes to their Childs week to week Educational progress. Instructors take weeks to address issues and are not receptive or accessible. You get the impression that your bothering or inconveniencing Teachers when it comes to some of the most fundemental issues concerning your childs Education,Grades, Adjustment, or disciplinary issues. The Program has the potential to be more with proper leadership
