The middle school has a strong principal and good teachers. Overcrowding is a real problem and the board of education is trying to address it with a bond referendum to invest in a new upper elementary school, and expansion and repairs to the other buildings. But the community has to vote for the plan. If if doesn't, the overcrowding will grow worse, not only in Fort Lee but elsewhere in New Jersey as well. Parents need to get involved and support their schools and their boards of education.

I am a student here, an 8th grader. This year, 2010, the school has turned horrible. here are absolutely no air conditioners, except for 3 classrooms, however if you walk into the Main office you are hit with a cool stream of air. The classes are terribly big, 30 kids in each. The lunch is allright, and you can see a menu online. But the thing that really discouraged me was that the school took away clubs. Last year there were all kinds of clubs, Shop club (woodworking), Science Club, Computer Club, etc. This year, there is no shop club, no computer club, and no science club. There are also too many people working there. Seriously, the district has enough money for 3 Main office secretaries? Also, even though the teachers say that our fundraiser money is going to our school, don't believe them. The district isn't doing anything useful anyways.

I am currently a student of Lewis F. Cole Middle School in Fort Lee. The school has many after school activities, such as TeenCenter, Chorus, Band, Industrial Arts, Student Council, and so on. The teachers are really nice, and some may be strict, but you learn many new things just like any other school. There may be drama, but you can make great friends easily. I should know that so far, Lewis F. Cole Middle School is the best so far, because I have been moving a lot, and so far, I think that Lewis F. Cole Middle School is the best. I think even when other new students attend, they will be very welcomed and make new friends very easily.

I am a 7th grader at Lewis F. Cole Middle School. This school is one of the best middle schools. They have a lot of fun extracurricular actives, including chorus and teencenter which is an after school program held every Tuesday and Thursday. Also the teachers are very good and know what they are teaching. The enviorment in which we learn is a very safe, comfortable feeling enviorment.

This school is the absolute best school that I have had to privilege to attend. The teachers are responsible and curteous, the curriculum is excellent, and the overall atmosphere is completely safe and comfortable. Because of the diversity of our school, we are lucky to know about different cultures, about different life styles, and it has helped us, the students, evolve into more mature, involved young adults. I think I can truely say that Lewis F. Cole has every quality that anyone could possibly ask for in a school.
