My children attended the school for several years. Unfortunately I can only give one star. The school is great at teaching strongChristian values. The mission to provide Christian education in a failing world is admirable. That is why I gave one star. The school uses the aBeka curriculum which is fine for grades K - 3. Grades 4 - 12, the curriculum falls severely short. There is alot of memorization and no problem solving & critical thinking. There is alot of focus on phonic and none on comprehension or creative writing. Book reports consist of 10 sentences. Grades 7 - 12 do not have a teacher . They watch videos of classes in FL. The videos are not current. Alot of grace is given for grades so the students appear to have high GPAs but little skills. Writing assignments are not properly graded. They do not receive any feedback to help improve their writing. Work is graded by other students. Most of the graduates enroll in non-accredited bible colleges and require remedial english composition classes. SAT scores for all races are lower than the national averages.
