We absolutely LOVE PCA. Our daughter is learning so much everyday. She is 3 1/2 and is learning Spanish and Taekwondo. The teachers are wonderful and the classes are small allowing more time to be spent with each child. I would highly recommend this school to other parents.

PCA is the greatest thing that has happened to my 2 daughters! My oldest is in first grade and my youngest is in the terrific threes program. My daughter was reading and telling time by the end of kindergarten. The small class size has definitely made a huge difference! My three year old LOVES going to school every day. The teachers are phenomenal and really love and care about the kids. The tuition is the most affordable price you will find anywhere and I love that my girls are getting a Christian education and that their teachers also share the same values and beliefs. You will not regret sending your child to PCA!

My husband and I really liked this school. Our son attended in kindergarten and he learned a great deal. He was reading by the end of December 2008, and I believe the small classes enabled more effort to be placed on teaching the students. The principal is wonderful, and really seemed to care about the children.

We are extremely please with PCA. The curriculum is second to none and the teachers are fantastic on top of the teacher/student ratio. Our son really enjoys the school and has continued to impress us with his development and absorption of the extensive materials and robust offerings. Spanish in pre-k? marvelous. My only wish is that the facilities offered more in terms of a playground or open activity area to burn off some steam, but as the school grows, I am sure the wonderful community of St Robert Bellermine will continue to provide all the necessary needs of the students. After having a difficult time deciding on a school, we know that we have made a wise decision and look forward to sending our others when they are of age. I strongly recommend this school.

This school is by far one of the best schools in NJ. I spent an entire year visiting numerous schools before deciding on PCA. What attracted me most about this school is how they encourage students to strive to reach their maximum potential. My 7 year old son is now covering the same thing in math as his 4th grade friend who is enrolled in a public school! What is even more impressive is how quick the priciple responds to every parent's concerns! If you make a suggestion that would improve the school, it is acted upon. The staff is always available to speak to you. Their number one concern is the children. My son has become much more responsible, articulate, and compassionate since he started at PCA. Academically he has excelled far beyond my expectations. Most students rank in the top 10% on national standardized exams.

My son has been a student at Providence Christian Academy for the past four years since kindergarten. The quality of his education has far surpassed my greatest expectations. He consistently places in the top 5% in statewide testing. I would recommend this school to everyone.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
