The school staff is great and are always on top of the students if they feel like they are failing and praise those who succeed.
I love the SFA reading program the school offers. The staff is caring and very professional.
I found the teacher Mr. S is very proffessional and he know how to deal with kids, my girl Sara Soliman is Egyptian and he know how to let her understand what he is saying and how to make her love school each day more than before. All the school staff are very helpful & carring. They also start their day with good smile for kids & parents that's very good thing.
Its great school and teacher,my kids wery loved the teacher and its wery important for kids have principal and teacher like that. Aldona Gospodarczyk
I think Wilson is a great school the teachers are very heplful. The principal is very involed. She is always available when you need her. My son teacher was someone I knew I could trust with my son education. The academic programs are very advance. The school did offer music and art there were really no extracurricular activities. The are some parent that are involed but I believe it should be more.
The principal at Wilson Elementary is more concerned about where the school ranks then about the quality of education the students are receiving. Currently, those that are highly intelligent are not learning anything and those that are slow learners are not learning anything. The school is only geared to middle of the road students. There is a least 2 months taken away from schoolwork and spent on preparing for the state tests. It is also distrubing, as a parent, that my son spent multiple days watching movies like the Lion King or Herbie the Love Bug rather than doing actual class work. My son, a slow learner, is being pushed up to the next grade level because they 'know' he is intelligent even though he has an overall grade level of D. This child should have stayed back, yet the school refused.
